(Maddie's Pov)

"Fritz! Ugh, damn you guys. Where are you?!"

I was walking in circles for like almost an hour now, and I can't find one of them.

Oh no, my flashlight's dying. It's almost out of batteries. If I don't get back to the bus soon, I will not able to see where I'm going.

"That's it! If you guys won't come out then i'll just have to leave you here. I'm going back." I shouted,

Which reminds me,

I've been walking for hours, I didn't even know where I was going.

I looked around and all I see is pitch-black, nothing more nothing else.

I don't know how to find my way back.

I sighed,

"Wait! No, no,"

My flashlight's dead, I tried to turn it back on but it won't light.

"Nothing will get much worse than this, right?" I said to myself.

I heard thunder clapping,

"Oh great! It's raining now."

I sighed, I tilted my head up and raindrops falling onto my face.

I sat down behind the tree. I just leaned against it and let it rain above me.

(James's Pov)

"Maddie!"

"Maddie, where are you?!"

"Girly, come out before I see a scary owl again!"

Her friends were all yelling and screaming while I stayed in silent and just focus on finding her.

"Guys, we won't find her if we stayed together. We should split up." I said,

"Good idea, James. Carl, Mitch and I will take this way, and you and Luke will take the other direction." Mitch said,

Ahh Maddie where are you. You're making things much harder for us.

"Dude, I think we should split up." Luke said,

"No, what if one of us get lost. Then the problem will get much worse if one of us did." I said,

"We can't find her. We have no choice."

The two of us split, and the rain's getting stronger.

"Maddie," I shouted, "Where are you?!" I found a wrecked shelter up ahead. I went in,

And I continued walking straight to the much darker part of the woods.
