(James's Pov)

School ended, which means I get to play basketball with my bros.

"Dudes, how 'bout basketball. Who's in for that?" Luke asked,

"That's what I'm thinking about just now." I said,

"So does this mean, we'll have to lock ourselves up in this school court again?" Chris complained,

"Who says we're playing here?" Zayne said,

(Luke's Pov)

I don't know this park has it's own court for basketballers.

We entered into a park, right across the street from Julliard.

"Oh yeah, I forgot, my jersey is at your house James. We went to do laundry at your house, remember?" Chris said,

I remember, James's house is not that far from Julliard, so we went to wash our muddy jerseys at them yesterday.

"Should we come and get it?" Zayne asked,

And we did get it...

"Ahh, our jerseys are so the same, I can't even tell which are mine." Chris said,

We're at James's house, down the basement.
We're trying to figure out which one is our jersey, 'cause they all look a lot the same.

"Remind me, why didn't we put our surnames at the back of our uniforms?" Zayne asked,

I caught James taking care of his other clothes,

He found something in his jeans that he was holding.

It was a bracelet,

It looks really familiar.

One tiny question won't hurt a bit right?

"Bro, where did you get that?" I asked him,

"Um, it's Maddie's." He answered,

That bracelet reminds me of the one that's on my mom's picture of her and my lost sister.

Nevermind,

I supposed to have fun, not to think of that problem.

"Why is that with you? I thought you wanted her dead." I laughed,

"I did, and I still do. I know this is important to her, so I won't bring it back till I heard the word 'sorry' from her mouth."

(Maddie's Pov)

We're here at the park, with my friends, Mitch, Penny, and Carl.

We chose this, 'cause it's the nearest park in Julliard.

We split up, Carl and Penny went to buy food, while Mitch and I went to sit by the bench to wait for them.

"Maddie, I'm gonna miss you." Mitch made a fake cry.

"Don't say weird words, it's freaking me out." I said,

"Who woudn't cry when you're bestfriend will be away from you?" She said,

"Think of it, We only see each other at lunch breaks, or not. 'Cause you know, maybe our time will be different." Mitch said,

And I only smiled at her.

"Come on," I said, "let's follow them."

Who would build a basketball court in a park like this.

Mitch and I walked pass by it.

(James's Pov)

We've arrived here a minute ago, we started playing since we got here, with our jerseys on.

We were never sure which one is ours, I'm talking about my jersey.

I took the ball from Zayne, I threw it all the way to the net.

I thought I scored bull's eye, but instead it bounced on the ring and it flew in another direction.

"Ow!"

Is that my fault?

Did I just hit that girl's head?

She fell down, rubbing her head.

"Miss, are you okay?" I went to her to help her get up.

She flipped her hair, to look at me.

"You?!"

We both said,

She stood up by herself,

"What's this?" She asked me, touching her forehead.

"A bruise," I said,

She whined,

"A bruise!" She yelled at me.

"Why are you looking at me like that? It's not my fault you're such a coward.

Why would you walk right here, if you surely know there's someone playing."

I said, trying to let her know that I'm blaming her.

"Oh so it's my fault now? If you're eyes are not too blind, maybe this wouldn't have happened."

I dribbled the ball towards the court. And we continued playing.

"Psshh, what a jerk."

I heard you, you know. But I didn't mind her at all.
