Chapter 10 - Let's die together

(Maddie's Pov)

Curse you James Standord!!!

You have gone too far this time. Too far!

You wanted me dead? Then let's die together!

"Maddie, what happened?" Mitch saw me when I was about to go change my wet pants.

"You look like a mess!"

Which reminds me, I don't have any clothes for me to change to.

"It's that Jerk, he won't leave me alone. Now, look what happened." I explained,

"Come on, let's get you fix." She pulled me,

(James's Pov)

Man, I got her good.

It would be so much better if she agrees to be my dog, somehow.

I found Zayne, outside the school. With many people surrounding Coach Evans.

"What's going on?" I approached Zayne and asked him.

"Coach decided to change the teams, since these two had a fight again." Zayne said, pointing at Jack and Kyle, two of my classmates.

The coach was scolding them, and after he gave us the new teams for the game. When Maddie, A.K.A. the enraged bull arrived with her friend.

"Penny, Kyle, Hannah, Maddie, and Mitch, you'll be teams." Coach said,

Uhh, too bad, I still have plans to prank her.
But we're not teammates anymore.

"James, Zayne, Carl, Jack and Fritz, Team up" Coach Evans said,

The two groups started searching, but the coach stopped us...

"Remember, whoever wins this game shall be exempted from the science test which the professor was gonna give you later." The coach said,

Wait! Does that mean I don't have to take the test??? Sh*t I gotta win.

I have to put an effort on this, since the whole class wanted to win. 

Now this what I called war.

And war means "To The Death"

(Maddie's Pov)

We have to win! I don't know why but we have to.

We're inside the school, running through every hallways just to find the red one.

"Maddie, I found it!" Penny shouted, I approached her.

I took the sign from her, but a hand went to grab it as well.

It's that Jerk!

"I found this first." He said, pulling the sign.

"Back off, if you don't want me to kick your-your.." I said, pulling it even harder.

"My what?" He said, glaring at me. "My what? Say it."

I stepped on his foot, he fell down. I ran away with the guardian following me.

"What is 2x+5=9" I read the sign, and the guardian was waiting for my answer, so that he could give the clue to the next sign.

"Uhh 2? Maybe," I said and the guardian nodded.

"The next sign is in the Janitor's closet, I'm too lazy to read this clue." The guardian said,

I don't know where my team is, but we've got to win.

I was running, when someone made me stumble on purpose and I fell down.

"Hey! What are you doing?" I yelled at him.

That jerk tied my shoelaces together.

I was trying to get his hands off of my shoe, but he's too strong.

How am I suppose to walk now, when my left shoelace was tied to the other.

"Stay there," the jerk said, and he stood up leaving me.

"Come back here, Jerk!" I shouted, trying to get up, but I can't.

I tried untying my shoelaces before he could get that sign.

I can't untie it!

So I took my shoes off and went to follow him.

(James's Pov)

Howcome I never saw this sign here before, I knew It wasn't here when I took the oil.

I got the sign, but what's a pterodactyl? The sign says I have to explain what a pterodactyl is to the guardian so that he could tell me where's the next sign is.

Ahhh! Curse this girl,

She got here and she pushed the closet's door with my arm between it.

I can't move one bit, it really hurts.

"A flying animal that lived long ago with dinos." She answered to the guardian.

And she was told where the next sign is, I heard it, so I'll follow her, as soon as I get my arm heal for a while.

(Maddie's Pov)

I'm in the science lab, searching for the third sign, I searched under the desk, behind the board, but there's nothing.

I even checked under every armchairs, but still there's nothing!

"I think. I thought of a wrong place." I said to myself.

"Yes, you have." Someone spoke, I turned around, and it was that jerk.

He locked me in.

I tried opening it, but It won't open.

"James, get me out of here, now!" I shouted,

"Bye," he just laughed.
