Chapter 22 - Dance with you

(James's Pov)

It's Saturday, and tomorrow's the permormance.

Maddie and I aren't really ready for it.

She called me to be at the school at exactly 8:00 in the morning.

I agreed,

Don't get me wrong, I still wanted her to get out of my life forever.

"I'm here," someone yelled, when I opened the door at the rooftop.

"Took you long enough."

"I had to prepare breakfast for my sister, plus, It's Saturday I can go whenever I want." I said,

"What's that I hear?" She placed her hand behind her ear.

"I thought I heard a Jerk speaking formally to me today."

Honestly, after dad left us, he's bad influences that I've caught are slowly vanishing.

It's like I've change a little, because of mom and Kaitlyn.

"What are you saying? I'm just doing what we agreed to." I said,

"Uhh yeah, sure you do." She said, her feet swinging forward and backward while sitting on the parapet.

Boy! She's really annoying,

"Get down from there, we need to get this practice finish by 10:00." I said,

(Maddie's Pov)

We started practicing now.

The dance is really easy by the way,

First of all, you just have to put your left hand on his shoulder and with your right hand folded on his.

And for him, he's got his right hand on my waist and his left on my right hand that I just told you.

And we need to step sidewards, after that I twirl, with my hand raised while he was holding it.

And then...

I don't really know how to explane the other steps, but you'll get it.

It's just like the night when Cinderella danced with the prince, exept.

He doesn't look like a prince at all!

And an attitude of mine doesn't call a Cinderella.

How about Beauty and the Beast?

That'll be perfect for the title of our team in the performance. Wait until Ms. Audrey hears it.

(Narrator)

The two, Maddie and James, are still practicing their dance.

Just Imagine the two of them, after all they've been through, after they killed each other every single day.

They still look so sweet like a real couple.

Faces getting near and near at each other, Hearts are beating fast,

But raindrops stopped them before they do.

Maddie unwrapped her arms from him and enjoyed the cold rain dropping down her skin.

While James was all froze up. Not moving one bit.

(Maddie's Pov)

We're inside the school, sitting on the stage that we were gonna dance on by sunday, and if I mean by sunday, I mean tomorrow night.

"Have you bought something to wear tomorrow?" He asked me.

"Oh no! I totally forgot about that!" I said,

He went down from the stage.

"Then come on, we'll find you a dress." He said,

I'm a very secretive man and a very selfish guy.

I lied,

The truth is I'm the only one who know about Maddie's personal life.

I know anything about her.

And to be honest, I know her parents didn't die from that car crash.

I know that they haven't found any bodies of two adults in the car.

And I know!

That her real father is the owner of Julliard.

How do I know? I was Eight back then, and I saw it when the incident happened.

Yes, the car did explode. But I pulled Maddie out of the car before it could, she was knocked unconscious.

I saw two people went out of that car after it exploded,

They survived, and they are not Maddie's parents.

They are the people who really hate her family.

And they tried to get revenge by taking their daughter, Maddie, and to kill her since they've killed their child.
