The week flew by and before I knew it was the day of the Ball at Nobel Michel Castle. I was woken up early, on Saturday, by Glenn himself. It was weird. I would have thought that Yu would be the one waking me up.
"Why so early in the morning?" I said as I let Glenn inside my little apartment. That was when I realized that I was only in a pink tank top and polka dot boy shorts.
I blushed as I went back into my room to put my robe on.
Glenn smirked when he saw me in my robe.
"Well," He said as he made himself comfortable on my couch. "I thought that I could bring you along with the other festivities before the Ball."
"Right," I nodded slowly as Yu came in with a couple of maids and a dress. One was a day dress and the other dress for tonight was already at Lord Nobel Michel's Castle. "Glenn, you don't have to bring me along--" I began to add, but he didn't let me finish.
"Linda," He got up from my couch and stood in front of me then.
There was no space between us and my heart began to beat fast by the closeness.
He chuckled as he touched my cheek with his thumb.
"I want to bring you." He simply said before he left me in the hands of Yu-- and the maids. Mainly the maids. Yu was just there to make sure that I was safe, for Glenn's sake.

Once I was ready, Yu and I exited my apartment.
Glenn was waiting for us in the car.
He looked at me approvingly as we headed for Lord Nobel Michel's Castle.
I absentmindedly bit down on my lower lip.
A finger touched my lips, to keep me from continuing my biting.
Glenn chuckled as he traced his finger along my jaw line. His touch sent shivers down my back.
"I can't believe you still do that." He shook his head as he traced his finger to my hair.
"I-I guess old habits die hard." I said breathlessly as I stared into his light brown eyes.
Why is it that he's making me nervous at this very second? I thought. Is it because of his touch, his gentle electrifying touch? Maybe.
He chuckled again as he hand touched my cheek gently, his hand felt cold against my warm cheeks.
"Are you okay there, Linda?" He said amusingly.
"Yes," I tried to hide a smile. He knew that he was making me blush, that the space between us was getting smaller by the second.
"Okay," He said as he closed the space between us. Our nose were touching by this point. "I'm just making sure. We wouldn't want you to get sick before the Ball, now would we?"
I blinked. "That would be a shame if I did." I felt my cheeks burn now.
God, if this didn't mean that I wasn't sick then I was blushing terribly.
For a split second, Glenn's eyes flickered to my lips. I'm guessing I did the same.
I was expecting him to kiss me, on the lips, but instead he gently kissed me on the forehead.
Such a tease, I thought as I let out a heavy breath.
Just then the car stopped and Yu got out before us. The ride to Lord Nobel Michel's Castle felt both short and long all at the same time. Somehow, time stopped for a moment when Glenn kissed me on the forehead.
