Author's Note:
Gah, I have no idea what will come out of this chapter, but I do hope that you like it anyway!
We are so close to the end, the Happy Ending, of Glenn and Linda's route!!!
P.S. I know I've said this before, but how I've come to write more than 20 chapters for this particular route of Be My Princess-- I am still shocked & happy of course! ^_^

Glenn and I have practically become inseparable after the announcement of his engagement break off with Lady Elizabeth.
Of course, we were engaged, but no one knew that. We thought that we would wait until everything has died down with his "sudden" break off of the engagement with Lady Elizabeth.
I didn't mind. As long as I was with Glenn, I was happy, and I understood the position we were both in.
Sure, I would have liked everyone to know that we were engaged, but somehow the situation that we were in. It felt normal.
Okay, maybe not normal, but in the sense of only a few people knowing that we were engaged. It felt normal.
Now, you're probably thinking how we had gotten engaged so quickly. Like, shouldn't there be some sort of "restart" in our relationship?
Yeah, no, I wouldn't think that would happen. Glenn and I, we've waited so long to be together.
Heck, we wouldn't be getting married as quickly as everyone around us would think. So we had time.
We had time.
Loads of time.
That's all we needed really.
Glenn and I have been going to parties, and events, together to the point where a few people-- other than those who were close to us-- were beginning to think that our relationship was more.
I was beginning to worry because I didn't want Glenn-- or me-- to have to endure rumors that were, well, true. But still!
Glenn laughed as we mingled around the Ballroom in Nobel Michel's Castle.
"Relax," He whispered into my ear gently. "They're just as curious as everyone else."
"Yeah, but it makes you think." I whispered back as I looked into his light brown eyes briefly. "Maybe we shouldn't be out and about together so freely. I mean, not before everyone knows about our, you know, engagement."
He sighed as he gently took me to a vacant balcony.
"Linda, are you sure this isn't about anything else? Other than everyone not knowing our engagement?"
Worry flickered in his light brown eyes.
I smiled as I touched his cheek.
He put a hand over mine.
"There isn't anything else." I said as I stared into his eyes. "I just feel like people would connect the dots. Now, I don't mind if they do, but it'll make rumors. Rumors that we could possibly not be ready for. At least, not just yet."
Hence, I didn't want him to have unnecessary rumors. As much as I didn't want them for me. For both of us.
"You're right," He said as he sighed. "I wasn't thinking about how people could twist a situation, a relationship. I guess I've been so caught up in the moment."
