Being home in Charles with my brother, Prince Edward and Glenn. It felt weird at first, but by the end of the our little "reunion" it felt nice. I even got a few of my memories back, but most of them were about Leighton, Prince Edward and Glenn.
Somehow, I had high expectations that I would suddenly remember a few memories about my parents.
Of course, that didn't happen, but I was happy that I had gotten most of my memories before the accident.
I felt whole, just a little bit.
On the last day, Leighton and I said our goodbyes with Prince Edward and Glenn. We were all going our separate ways.
"See you next time," Glenn said as he lightly kissed me on the cheek.
"Yeah, see you." I said I kissed him on the cheek back.
My brother and I waited for Prince Edward and Glenn to leave before we left for Nobel Michel.
The ride home was silent.
"It was nice." I said when we were almost close to my apartment. "Having that little 'reunion', I mean."
My brother nodded as he stopped in front of my apartment.
"Yeah, it was." He got out of the car with me. "You should stay again or, you know, come and stay home."
"But what about my job?" I said as I took my suitcase from him.
He sighed as he took an envelope from his coats inside pocket.
"Mom and dad made you a trust fund before they died." He said as gave me the envelope. "You're of age now to access the money in the trust fund. You can use the money to go to College...maybe in Charles."
I was rendered speechless. Never in my dreams would I expected this. To have a trust fund.
"Leighton, I don't know--"
"Linda," He looked into my eyes sincerely. "You should go to College. I know that you want to even without saying anything about it. I can see it in your eyes." He looked away for a second before looking back into my eyes. "Besides, I would like it if you could stay at home with me. We could catch up some more. Be a family again, somehow."
I bit down on my lip as I looked down at the envelope in my hand.
"Can I think about it, please?"
My brother nodded, "Of course."
"Thanks," I hugged my brother.
"Your welcome, Lin." He hugged me back and before I knew it. I was back in my apartment, alone.
I put the envelope in the safe that I had in my closet.
I could go to College now, I thought as I laid on my bed, and it was all thanks to my parents. The parents that I barely remembered.

Work was hectic, especially going there. Apparently, the paparazzi had caught me hugging my brother yesterday.
Well, that's just great, I thought sarcastically as I tried to my best to work in the front, but in the end my manager made me help the chef (that actually came in today) with baking the breads and pastries.
I wasn't needed in the back, but I wasn't complaining. This was so much better than seeing paparazzi take pictures of me right outside the store, through the windows.
Ugh, I thought as I looked at the newspaper that the chef had brought in.
"You know," He said as he glanced over at me. "I wouldn't have thought that would be you. The one in the paper, I mean."
