Author's Note:
Okay, so at first I had no idea how I was going to write this chapter. I was debating with myself whether I should keep this first part or not.
Well, we are at the end of Prince Glenn and Linda's Route.
However, I think there will be one last chapter. I have no idea. We'll see. I'm just thinking of combining the honeymoon (which I'm planning on having a separate chapter for as the Final Chapter).
Do you think I should do that? Like how I did with Wilfred's route? I honestly have no idea.
Well, anywho, if there is a Chapter 35 called The Final Chapter, then I decided to separate The Wedding and the Honeymoon.
Okay, no I'm just rambling.
Let, Chapter 34 - The Wedding, begin!
~~~
Three days before the Wedding...
After finalizing every single detail that had come to mind-- both me and the Wedding Planner-- I was to go back home, to Charles.
Yes, there was a Wedding Planner. Technically, she was only present when we had taste tested the cake and during the countless rehearsals that we had at Lord Nobel Michel's Castle.
Apparently, that's where our Wedding would be held, both the ceremony and the reception. It was only customary to have the Crown Princes marry there, and it only made sense of course.
However, I didn't want to leave Oriens or Glenn. So, I had practically protested the night before.
Saying, "Do I really have to leave three days before the Wedding?" I looked at Glenn and pouted like a little child.
"Yes," Glenn said hesitantly.
"Really? You don't sound too sure." I eyed him as I laid my head on his chest. We were in his room again, sitting on his couch.
I liked his room, it felt safe somehow.
This will also be my room too in a matter of days, I thought. As soon as I had thought that, I felt my cheeks burn.
Glenn wrapped his arm around me.
"Truthfully, I'm not, but it's customary."
"Customary," I repeated in confusion. "How is being apart from each other, for three whole days before our wedding, customary?"
I felt Glenn laugh.
"Yeah, it does sound a little ridiculous."
A little? I thought. More like a lot.
"We'll see each other again," Glenn promised when I hadn't said anything.
"At the alter," I whispered, my whole face burning now.
I was going to marry Glenn in approximately three days from now.
Happiness spread through me as I turned and wrapped my arms around his neck, engulfing him with a tight-- but gentle-- hug.
"I'll miss you." I said as I rested my chin on his shoulder.
Glenn wrapped his arms around my chest and gave me a tight, but gentle squeeze.
"I'll miss you too, Linda."
We stayed like that for awhile before Glenn decided it was time that I went to bed.
According to him, I would be leaving bright and early tomorrow, to go back to Charles.
I'll get to see Leighton, I thought before I went to sleep that night. That's a plus.
