No more secrets

That night I stayed sitting on the floor, not moving an inch. My tail never disappeared as I still had lots of tears to shed. The guys ended up coming to my room once they couldn't stand to see me upset anymore. They pushed open my door moving me across my floor, but I didn't care. I didn't want to do anything, but sit there and wish I wasn't even here. As soon as they were in my room, all I heard were gasp of shock. "She's a mermaid. No way." "I don't believe it." "Hey, let's not bring that up right now," RM says. They all take a seat on my bed except jimin who heads into my bathroom. He comes back out with a towel and tries to hand it to me. I keep my hands on the ground, refusing to take it. All he does is nod his head and starts to dry my tail himself. "Can you tell us what happened ?," Jin asks. "We will wait all night if we have to," V says.

The guys don't pressure me and minutes of silence pass. As jimin takes his time drying my tail, I grab his hand to make him stop. "Let me do it, jimin." He stops drying me and stands up. I steam dry myself then stand up. No one says anything as I take the towel from jimin and wipe my eyes. I must look horrible right now. My head hurts and my eyes are really red and puffy. I face the guys and sigh. "Alright, now I can tell you everything." I told them about from when I became a mermaid all the way up to the fight between Jungkook and I. I had no more secrets to hide. "We are so sorry,Bri. Oh, and we promise we won't tell anyone your secret," J-hope says. "Thank you all so much." I start to yawn and rub my eyes. "Come on guys. Let's let Bri get some sleep," Suga says. They all nod their heads and stand up to leave. Once they leave I noticed Jimin is still standing in my room. "Aren't you going to leave with them." "No I'm going to stay with you if that's alright. I know you might want to be alone, but I don't wanna leave you by yourself like this." "That's alright. I don't mind if you stay." With that he hops in my bed. I join him and cover us with the covers. I know this might seem wrong, but I was never even with Jungkook. And jimin is just being nice by comforting me. I scoot closer to him and rest my head on his chest. He wraps his arms around me and rest his chin on top my head. "Goodnight,Bri," he says and I can't help but smile.

No ! No , no ! I stir in my sleep as my nightmare continues. People gathered around from everywhere, staring at me with my tail. Men in white coats sticking me with needles and cutting me in certain places. Across the crowd I can spot a boy with black hair. He stares at me, his face emotionless. I winch in pain as the knife cuts my skin deep. No one helps me, they just watch. I continue to watch the boys face. He looks guilty as if he wants to help but can't. I scream as something is put over my mouth and starts to make feel sleepy. Before my eyes close, I look over to the boy one more time. As if he can't stand to watch anymore, he walks away. I continue to watch as my eyes start to shut. All I can think was, why Jungkook, why ?

" No,no,no !" I sit up in bed trembling with fear. Tears forming in my eyes. "Bri ! Bri, what's wrong ?" I had almost forgot about jimin. I wrap my arms around his waist and bury my face into his neck. Tears slid down my cheeks as he rubs my back. "Hey hey. Don't cry." He pulls me back and wipes my tears before my tail can appear. He cups his hands around my cheeks and stares into my eyes. "Tell me. What's wrong ?"  "I had a bad dream. People seeing me with my tail. Men were doing test on me and Jungkook. It was him. He did it to me." Jimin pulls me into a tight hug and rubs my head with his hand. "No, he wouldn't do that. He made a promise. Trust me, Bri. He would never." I nod my head to let him know I trust him. Jimin releases me from the hug but still lightly grips my shoulders. "Want to head downstairs for some breakfast ?" I shake my head no. I don't want to see or have anything to do with Jungkook right now. "Okay. I'll go make something for you then. Anything in particular you want ?" "Surprise me," I say with a smile. He returns the smile then kisses my head before heading downstairs.

About 10 minutes later he returns with a tray of food. He places the tray next me then sits back down beside me. I look at the things he's brought me and I think I am drooling. Everything looked great. He made me an eggs, cheese, ham, and bacon sandwich on toasted bread with a cup of fruit. He even made me a glass of chocolate milk. "Thank you, Jimin. It looks great." I take a bite of the sandwich and delightfully sigh. It so good that it doesn't take me long to eat it. Lastly I eat the fruit and finish the chocolate milk. "Was it really that good," he laughs. "Yes I loved it."
