Part Two of Stressed
The wall that I built,
is now falling apart.
Piece by piece,
it hits the ground
with a bang
like a bass drum's beat.
This wall isn't any wall,
this wall protects me from the world of stress.
Now, the stress is breaking through.
Like my tears breaking over its barrier
and sliding down my cheek.
I sit and watch as my world crumbles.
The world of safety, happiness and ignorance.
The tide of stress is coming soon.
Waiting is the hard part,
I don't know what to expect this time
as each brick falls.
I must brace against the wave.
If not, I may crumble too.
