Truth

I woke up in the morning and oh? it's 9. Well, alam ng katawan ko kung may pasok or wala.

I jumped off from the bed and do my usual routines.

I'm at the kitchen now, preparing my breakfast which is tea, toast and scrambled egg. I really eat like this.

If you're thinking that I'm on a diet, well I'm not.
I'm eating the way like this before but not when I've suffered mild depression, kain kasi ako ng kain noong na depress ako.

After I've prepared my breakfast, dinala ko pagkain ko sa sala at doon kumain. Nanood narin ako ng Tv.

After I've ate, I went back to the kitchen and put the used plate and cup in the sink.

Hindi pa pala ako nakapagbihis ng pambahay. Nakita ko kasi sa salamin which was in the corner of the room na suot-suot ko pa ang sports bra and leggings ko.

So I've decided to go upstairs to change but before that I heard knocks on the front door.
Bakit may nakapasok? Nakalimutan ko yatang ilocked yung gate. Hmp!

Ahh, oo nga naman pala, alam ni Coleen ang passcode sa gate.
Akala ko ba may seminar siya?

Pumunta nalang ako sa pintuan and because it's a none-peek-hole-kind-of-door, bubuksan ko talaga to kahit na hindi ko pa alam kung sino to. Tsk!

When I opened the door widely, bumungad sa akin ang lalaking kahapon pa nandidito sa aking isip. Si Liam! Smiling while studying me from head to toe?! Sh*t!

What the hell is he doing here?! And he know my place?!
Gosh!

I immediately closed the door and locked it as I realized what I was wearing. Sports bra and leggings lang naman! Gosh! Nobody had already seen me wearing like this before, except my best friend.

So I literally ran upstairs and change. Ano bang ginagawa niya rito? Bakit alam niya ang bahay ko?

Helloooo Lainey?

Hinatid ko niya diba?
But he just dropped me in the main street. Did he followed me that time? My Gosh!

After I've done, I ran down the stairs at sinilip ko siya sa bintana silently. Bakit hindi ko to naisip kanina?

Nandito pa siya, so I decided na papasukin nalang siya.

I opened the door but not as wide as I did earlier and he smiled at me.

"What are you doing here?" Pambungad ko sa kanya.

"Can you please let me get inside first?"

Tsk! Ang epal naman nito! Sa akin tong bahay no! Bakit niya ako inuutusan?

So I opened the door widely as a sign to let him get inside. Pumasok na rin siya.

"Sit down, and what are you doing here?" Sabi ko ng taray-tarayan pose.

"Napadaan lang ako, may pinuntahan kasi ako dito sa subdivision." He told me while crossing his right leg to his left.

"I see, so how did you know my exact place and what exactly do you want from me? " I asked again.

Napasmile siya sa tanong ko. Alam niyo? Baliw rin ata to!

"First question is, sinundan kita noong hinatid kita, hindi mo lang napansin. Second is, I just want to talk with you about something." He smiled at me.

Hala! Talk with me? about something? Ito na ba yun? Gosh!

"Ah eh. What do you want us to talk about? Tungkol ba sa panyo?" I directly said and umupo ako sa tabi niya, waiting for his answer.

Tama ba na ako una nagmention about sa panyo?! Hays.

"Ahmm.. Actually yes." He said to me and napanganga ako.

"So you are that man who bumped into me 2 years ago?" I asked him.

Shocked parin ang ate niyo.

"Yes, why didn't  you recognized me?" Tumatawa siya habang tinanong ako.

"I'm sorry, hindi na ako tumingin sa iyo noon, nahihiya kasi akong makita mo na lumuluha ako." Ngumiti lang siya pagkatapos kong sabihin yun.

"Okay lang. If you don't mind, why are you crying that time." He asked me na nakakunot ang noo.

"Ah eh, I caught my boyfriend kissing with my best friend."

"Oh? Cheating?" He asked me.
"I can't call it cheating. Forced kasi daw yun dahil, my ex was on drugs. Okay na kami ngayon."
Sabi ko na nakasmile.

"Okay? With your ex?" He asked.
"No! Way." I said. Frustrated.
"Ah, with your best friend." He said. Tumango nalang ako.

---Silence---

"By the way, thanks sa panyo. It helped me though. And thank you, because I felt like I'm comforted by someone that time kahit na ang sakit ng pagkabangga mo saakin noon." Tumawa ako. Tumango lang siya.

Nakita kong kinuha niya ang phone niya sa bulsa niya. May nagtext ata.

"Lainey, I have to go, kailangan daw ako sa bahay." He said.

"Mag lunch kana dito." Sabi ko.

"Thank you nalang, I really have to go." He said at tumayo na siya.

"Okay thanks again." I said and I smiled at him.

Hinatid ko siya sa tapat ng pintuan at nagpaalam na rin siya.

Siya nga talaga! Sa wakas! Alam ko na talaga. Nakapagpasalamat na rin ako sa wakas.

Wala naman akong masyadong ginawa ngayong araw na to bukod sa paggogrocery. Wala ng pagkain sa fridge at sa cupboard eh.

Wala din akong ibang inisip kundi ang natuklasan ko ngayong araw. 

I can't believe na magkikita pa kami ng lalaking yun kahit na possible naman. Gwapo pala ang nakabangga ko? Kung alam ko lang, tiningnan ko sana siya noon.

Maybe, except of I don't like anybody seeing me so messed that time, dala na rin siguro ng lungkot, hindi na ako kumausap ng mga tao.

But now, I think the truth has been said. I think hindi naman yata nagsisinungaling si Liam kaya naniniwala ako sa kanya.
