Louis hurriedly took off the white veil over my face and pulled me closer for a gentle kiss. He never waited for the Reverend to finish his line and that made the people laugh. He's that eager to kiss me.
People stood up and put their hands together for us as we face them.
It's just a family-invited wedding, which means pamilya ko at pamilya niya ang nandito but we both agreed na pati mga kaibigan namin, syempre dapat a-attend.
Nakilala ko ang iba pang mga pinsan ni Louis pati mga Titas and Titos niya. They have almost the same features, mababae man o malalaki. They are approachable and friendly too like the Monte's.
Nakilala rin ni Louis ang mga pinsan ko at mga aunties and uncles ko na galing pa sa malayo.
How I wish that Dad and Mom witnessed my wedding.
They're well accommodated by the Monte's and McCullen's (Tita Lemery's surname).
Oh Gosh! Their smiling faces is the most unforgettable today.
As we walked down the aisle, they congratulated us. May mga nanatiling pumapalakpak at yung iba nama'y lumapit sa amin para makipagkamay.
We also agreed na dito nalang sa likod ng mansion nila Mom Lemery at Dad Leonard ang venue ng kasalan.
It was a garden wedding, of course. Flowers are everywhere and probably the most beautiful garden wedding arrangement I've ever seen.
The food and drinks reception was located inside the mansion, specifically at the hall.
We got a 5-layer wedding cake, a large one. The foods were just around the corner as well as the wines and everyone was enjoying every moment.
We have a master of ceremony too. Kailangan kasi para mas organize.
So the MC asked us for a bride and groom dance.
Mga ilang minuto na ang nakalipas said pagsayaw namin ay tinawag na rin ng MC ang mga gustong sumayaw. Pumunta lang daw sa dancefloor.
Well, they did.
Mga pinsan kong babae, niyaya ng mga pinsan ni Louis na lalaki at ang mga pinsan kong lalaki, niyaya ang mga pinsan niyang babae.
Pati mga bata naming pamangkin ay sumasayaw na rin. Cute.
Everything went well with so much fun and happiness. Ako na yata ang pinakaswerte na bride sa balat ng lupa!
After the dancing session, the MC announced that some of the members of the families were given a chance to give some advices na kailangan ng bagong mag-asawa.
"Trust me, small fights are normal. Just let each other speak about your sides then listen and understand to resolve those potential problems." Tita Atheana said. She had a beautiful brown eyes too. She's Tita Lemery's older sister.
That's the last advice we've heard. Pero parang lahat naman talaga about sa ganyan. Kasi hindi naman talaga daw yan maiiwasan. Your relationship is boring if there will be no arguments, ika nga nila.
I felt like the day just gone so fast. Bakit ba ganyan? Kapag puno ng kasiyahan ang araw mo, bakit parang feeling mo andali lang matapos while kung puno ng kalungkutan antagal matapos ng araw? Bakit?
Well, I don't care anymore.
I will only put my focus on the things that makes me happy.
Especially now, that I will be a mother soon.
