"Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control." ~ Unknown

"Urgh!!! Just where can I get a cheaper place to live in? The rents are ridiculously expensive. How someone like me will ever be able to afford it? I guess, I'm just pathetic by having a dream to live in this capital city." She mumbled to herself.
"I hope I can just get married to a rich guy who wants nothing from me and live however I choose to," she kept on complaining, "As if it will happen," she sighed.
"I just wish to get out from the living hell..." soft sobs left her mouth. She totally forgot that she was in a café with people all over the place.
Out of nowhere, a handkerchief was placed in front of her on the table.
"Wipe those tears, little girl." A sweet yet calming voice said making her jumped on her seat.
She lifted her head up, just to see a young beautiful man stood in front of her drained eyes. Yes, beautiful! She couldn't believe her eyes. She wiped her tears using the piece of cloth to get a better view of the moment. Indeed, it wasn't a dream. She wasn't dreaming. He is drop dead gorgeous that she didn't even want to blink her eyes. Every second was too precious.
The man was tall, with raven hair, looking smooth and silky, sparkling doe eyes, a perfect cute nose, gorgeous pink lips and fair honey skin. Wearing a blue jacket on top of his white cloth paired with a denim pants, the only word that suits him is perfect. 'Is he even real?'
The man took out a chair and sat across her, arms crossed on the table.
"Looks like you got some problem there. Mind to tell me? Maybe I can be of help," he started the conversation with the same concerned tone. Staring at her eyes boldly, he tried to read her.
"Did you hear me?" she asked looking away feeling slightly embarrassed, his gazed was too strong and heart fluttering. She mentally facepalmed herself for mumbling out her feelings.
"How can I not? You were being too loud behind me. So, what's up?" still trying to figure out, eyes never left her.
"No-nothing. I'm sorry for being too loud." Still trying to avoid him, butterflies running in her stomach, she could hear her heart hammering against her chest.
"Then, tell me something. Are you being serious of what you were saying about the marriage thing?" hoping for an answer he wanted to hear. 'Maybe she can be my escape.'
"Huh! Wh-what were you talking about? You heard wrong. I never said something like that?" hoping he would stop questioning her and get away.
"Come on, little girl. I heard what I heard. Don't try to confuse me," convincing her that he heard everything clearly. 'Come on, girl. Say yes!'
"Stop calling me little girl! I'm not a kid. And I'm not telling you anything," convincing him that she would say nothing at all.
He groaned as he started to get annoyed by the lady in front of him. "I am rich and I want nothing from you. So, how about that?"
She frowned as she tried to process what the guy just blurted out. "How about what? Are you kidding me?"
"No, I'm not. You just told me you were not a kid. Why would I be kidding around then?" he said with a serious tone.
She rolled her eyes and scoffed, "Then, leave me alone. I hate talking to strangers." 'Why is he forcing me?'
"Let's make a deal. You need me. And surprisingly, I need you too."
"I won't, because I don't need you." She quickly grabbed her bag and stormed of the shop.
She heard footsteps following her from behind. She fastened her paced. Suddenly, she felt a tight grip on her wrist. She saw the guy from the coffee shop. She glared at him with anger.
"Let me go!"
"Let's talk!"
"Never!"
"Please!"
"Nope!"
"Pretty please!"
"No!"
He was still dragging her by the wrist while they were arguing catching attentions from the trespassers. She was struggling to let herself free from him seeking peoples' sympathy but hesitation in helping her.
"Listen," he pulled her closer bumping into his chest.
"Ouch!" she managed to form a gap by using her hands on his shoulder to create a distance.
"One more word and you will regret!"
"I'm already regretting talking to you."
"Still talking..." he smirked.
"What?"
"Stop by yourself if you don't want me to help," he whispered next to her ear sending chills throughout her body.
"How? No, no, no. What?!" she regretted asking him such stupid questions when she should just obey him.
He grinned while moving his face closer to her. Almost brushing their nose together while staring at her lips eagerly. Then, he moved to her eyes, staring deeply. She was so shocked by the sudden closeness that her eyes almost popped out of the socket.
"L-le-let's go," stuttering heavily.
"Good girl," he responded with a slight evil chuckle. He held her hands gently and lead her to somewhere suitable for discussion. He wanted her.
