"Let's go home." Jungkook broke the hug and stared into her red and puffy eyes.

Jiwon nodded in agreement.

"I'll get the car. Wait here for a while, okay?"

Jiwon shook her head, "Let's just walk."

Jungkook stared at her from top to toe, "Are you serious? Look at your condition, you won't be able to walk far."

"I'll stop when I'm tired. Then, we can ride a cab. I just want to get some fresh air." Unintentionally cute.

"Fine! But let me do the walking, okay. Hop on!" he gave up. Jungkook kneeled down in front of her and signalled to his back.

"N-no, no...let's-let's walk together. I-I'm heavy." She waved her hand showing a no sign while stuttering.

"Don't worry. I'm strong. If you keep on walking, your knee will begin to bleed again. Then, it will take a longer time to heal. You won't want that, right?"

She nodded. She looked really cute in his eyes, like a small girl obeying to her parents.

Jungkook stood up facing her, he took off his black jacket leaving alone his white shirt on and tied the sleeves around her waist, covering her legs from the short black skirt. They were so closed together that she forgot how to breathe, his abrupt action startled her, he was so sweet paying attention to her every detail. His eyes were staring at hers lovingly, smiling genuinely popping his small dimple on his left cheek.

"There!" he exclaimed satisfyingly while adjusting the jacket, "Next time, please wear something long or just put on pants. Or else people will be staring at your beautiful legs lustfully and I hate it. Understand," he pinched her nose playfully.

She nodded nervously, cheeks as red as a tomato, eyes wandering everywhere but him.

"Come, hop on!"

She climbed on him carefully, adjusting her position comfortably, wrapping her arms on his muscular shoulder, placing her chin on his right. "Tell me whenever you are tired. I'll walk from there." She whispered shyly to his ears.

He chuckled at her words. "Stop worrying about me! I'll show you how strong I am. You can depend on me. And I promise to protect you from every harm. Just lean all the weight to me."

Jiwon tighten her hug around his neck. She could feel his sincerity through the words uttered. Jiwon, on the other side, was dying to do as what he told her, lean all the weight on him, let him protect her from every harm, depend on him as much as she can and let him prove how strong he is. Yet, she knew that the best thing she could do is to stay away from him. She sighed internally.

"Jiwonie, can I ask you something?"

"Mhmm..."

"Who is that guy from before?"

"..."

"Do I know him?"

"..."

"Is he someone important in your life?"

"..."

"Do you perhaps...like him?"

"..."

"Jiwon-ah, is...is he the reason to-to why you keep on ignoring and avoiding me all this while?" his voice cracked.
