"It's pretty simple, pretty obvious; that people's first impressions of people are really a big mistake." ~ Vincent D'Onofrio

Her impression on him changed in just a few minutes. He now looked like an angel with a devil at heart in her eyes. Looking so pure outside but, a living hell inside. He had the guts to dragged her when she clearly was against it. Now, they were standing not looking at each other at an unknown park with only a few people passing by. But, he was facing her back, hesitating on starting the conversation. She started to get pissed off by the awkward air filling around them.
"Talk already!" she finally blurted out her anger.
"Fine, will you look at me while I am talking."
"Why do I have to?"
"Look, I am trying to have a nice conversation. I didn't mean to act harshly on you."
"Then, why did you do that?"
"You were too stubborn and you wouldn't listen to me."
"So, now it was my fault? Are you serious?!"
"No, no. That's not what I meant. Okay, I'm sorry. It was all my fault. Blame it on me," he gave up knowing he was at wrong.
"Seems more like it," she cooled down a bit hearing him admitting his mistakes.
"Are we good now? Can we talk?"
"Still not good but can still talk."
"Good enough for me then," he sighed in relief.
"Spill." Still cold.
"Before that, let me introduce myself. I'm Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook."
"Jiwon. Kim Jiwon." They shook hands and immediately let go as it felt extremely awkward.
"Actually, I unintentionally heard everything you said at the café back then. It's not like I could avoid it when I was exactly behind you. And I am not deaf to begin with. Plus, a bit lazy to move to another table. Moreover, it was quite interesting so I decided to stay at the table." He giggled innocently. He really looked innocent effortlessly.
"You mean, sorry not sorry?" she asked sarcastically.
He shrugged. "It seems like you need help. And coincidently, I need it too. I think we can work it out together."
"What do you mean?" she looked at him straight in the eyes.
"Marry me and I will not ask anything from you."
"What?! Are you out of your mind?!"
"Listen, here's the deal. I will provide you with a complete accommodation as that is what you want right. All you have to do is marry me, be a good wife and pretend that you love me. I will do the exact same thing."
"Wait! Why are you willing to do that? You are rich, at least that what you told me, and you got the look that I swear every woman will be dying for, then, don't you have a girlfriend? Go marry her!" she let out her thoughts.
"Thanks for the compliment by the way. For your information, I am not interested in any special relationship. If I do, I wouldn't be bothered to ask for your help too."
"Why can't I believe whatever you said just now? It's weird you know. How can someone as hot as you never had a girlfriend? Not even a friend?"
"Are you trying to flirt by calling me hot? Plus, I never said I never had a girlfriend. Of course, I did. But the last time was few years ago. Now, I just date and ditch. Nothing more, nothing less. Satisfied with my answer?"
"Not yet. You don't even know me. How can you bluntly decided to pick me and marry me?"
"You look nice. At least that's what I see."
"Haven't you heard about 'don't judge a book by its cover'?"
"But, you are not a book. Or are you?" he looked at her weirdly.
"But, it implies to human beings too. And surprisingly, I'm not a book. Too bad."
"You are funny. I like that trait. Do you have a boyfriend? Cause if you do, I will regret not meeting you way before him," he asked curiously hoping a no for an answer.
"Used to but, not anymore."
"Ever think of looking for one?"
"Once in a wh-...wait! Isn't it getting too personal?! Stop asking such questions. Back to the point." She managed to avoid.
"Right. Sorry. So, are we good?"
"What good?"
"The deal. Marry me?"
"Humph...," she sighed deeply. "I need to think about it carefully first. I don't want to make a wrong decision. Plus, we just met for a few minutes. I can't simply trust you, stranger! Who knows you might be a pervert or a serial killer?"
"I am Jungkook, in case you have forgotten. But seriously, how bad do I look like? Why aren't you running away then? Do you like to be around a pervert or a serial killer?"
"Right. I should have run." She grabbed her bag and walked off.
"Wait! What's the closure?" he stopped her.
"Running away?"
"No! Just give me your number. Let's keep in touch."
"Can I trust you?"
"I won't force you."
"Then, no." still hesitating whether to believe the guy in front of her or not.
"Please!"
"Fine but, that doesn't mean I'm in for it. We need more time to trust each other."
"Okay! Whatever you say."
Then, they exchanged numbers and went separate ways.
Little did they know that they yearn for each other company.
