After the long conversation, they went out for lunch at another nearby restaurant. He walked her home although she was against the idea of having to spend more time with him.

"I forgot to ask, who are you living with currently since your family is in Busan?"

"With my boyfriend," she spitted out without thinking.

"What? So, you do have a boyfriend? No wonder you are quite reluctant to marry me," he was quite disappointed.

"Then, is the deal still on?" she wanted to test him a bit.

"Up to you, I don't have a problem. This concerns your love life more. Have you told him?" He sounded so weak.

"Not yet. I'm scared. What shall I tell him?"

"Just tell him the truth. I don't suggest you to keep a secret. It's not good in a relationship," he said while looking down.

"What if he gets mad? What if he breaks up with me?" still playing around.

'Good then.' "If he loves you, he should trust you. If not, then he doesn't deserve you." 'Just come to me.'

Suddenly, she stopped her track. She squatted down on her knees. She covered her face with her delicate hands. He swore he heard her sniffed.

"Hey! Don't cry! Everything is gonna be okay."

"I don't think I can do this. I cannot imagine my life without him," she cried even harder.

'I can't stand it anymore. Why is she crying? I can feel my heart getting weak.'

"You know what, just forget about it. Forget about the deal. Forget about everything I say. Forget about meeting me. I guess it's really a bad idea. I'm being too selfish if I still keep this going on. Just don't cry okay," he tried to comfort her with a really soft yet calming tone.

'Why is he so kind? He really amuses me even more. He is just perfect. Do I deserve him?'

"What am I going to do? What if- what if I am just lying to you?" she sobbed while lifting her head to see his reaction.

"I said it's gonna be okay. Don't cry." 'Wait! Why is she smiling now?' "Wait! What did you just say? Lying? You were lying? You don't have a boyfriend?"

"Nope!" with that she sprinted off as fast as she could.

"Jiwon, wait! How dare you lie to me? Screw the marriage. I'm gonna teach you a lesson right here, right now. Stop there and come back!" he screamed at her while running as fast as he could.

"Kim Jiwon! Yah! Kim Jiwon!" he was getting near her. "Run as fast as you can because once I catch you, you are a dead meat!" he shouted so that she could hear him. 'A little bit more! You gonna regret your action, Kim Jiwon!'

"Gotcha!" she grabbed her waist pulling her closer to him. Close enough to feel their breath against each other.

She was dumbfounded and left speechless. She was too close to him that she could feel his heart beating like a sledgehammer. His eyes squinted a bit living wrinkles at the corner of his eyes showing his tired self from all the running. His mouth was lightly open panting to catch his breath. His face was covered with beads of sweats. His right hand was wrapping around her waist. His left hand was grapping her right wrist. She felt her knees giving up on her. He tightened his hold by pulling her even closer to his body. A few seconds later, he could feel her heavy breathing. She was sort of suffocating.
