Jiwon was getting ready to work. As usual she woke up early to ensure that she had time for breakfast, even if it is only a cup of coffee and a few pieces of bread. She decided to walk to work since spring season has already made an appearance. She wore something warm since spring colds usually occurs in early spring.
Various flowers started to bloom in the mild and warm weather, keeping her heart as cheerful as the vibrant colors. It had been her monthly routine to walk during spring season and the flowers field is one of the reason as to why she chose to take a stroll instead of driving to work.
After about 15 minutes of walking, she reached her office. She had been busy this past few weeks since the deadline was around the corner. She needed to submit the report by the end of March and she was only halfway complete.
Due to the hectic schedule, she had been missing her chance to visit her mother in law. She wondered what had she been doing all this while since she never gave her a call nor asked her to drop by, which so not her. Beforehand, even if she was late by a few seconds, she would hastily call to ask her whereabouts.
She was a bit anxious considering Mrs. Jeon unstable conditions, but due to the limited time, she had to trust her. She, herself had no time to rest and relax. The office had been her playground during weekends and coffee was her official bestfriend to keep her awake.
Since the assignments was almost done, she now had some free time and she will use it by paying the mother a visit this evening after work. She happily began her work in a positive attitude. She wanted to keep herself occupied so that she won't think of anything else that will only worry her.
"Jiwon-shi, how are you doing? You look extremely different today? Did something good happen?" someone suddenly approached her.
"Good morning, Seojoon-nim. I'm fine, thank you. Today I'm happy because my work is almost done way before the deadline," she flashed her manager a cheerful smile which she rarely did.
"So, that means you will have some free time?"
"Yup!"
"Then, will you like to join me for dinner later?" he boldly asked her out.
"Hmm...let's see," she pretended to think, "Nope, sorry Seojoon-nim. I' have a date afterwards."
"Date? I thought you are not seeing anyone?"
"You thought wrong then."
"But...they told me you are still single." Disappointed. "He is sure one lucky guy."
"SHE is one lucky person." She laughed at his expression as he heard the word one comforting word. She.
"So, it's a she. Glad to know that. Then...I'll be sure to be that 'he' next time." He rubbed his nape shyly while showing his spectacular eye smile. He rushed out her office with a grin never leaving his lips.

She took a taxi to the mansion since its quite far from her work place. She suddenly felt nervous to be visiting her mother in law that day. Her heart was pondering vigorously as if it was telling her that something bad is about to happen. She became more worried about Mrs. Jeon. 'Did something happen to her while I was away?'
She tried to distract her bad feelings, she plugged her ears with an earpiece and enjoy her playlist. After about 40 minutes, she arrived in front of the gate. She pays the taxi driver and thanked him. She walked in through the gate and rang the bell.
