i absolutely hate when others romanticize mental illnesses.
How they make them out to be some fun and trendy quirks.
How they use disorders as adjectives.
"My OCD is showing." "I stayed up all night, I'm such an insomniac." "My mom yelled at me, she's so bipolar." "My favourite show got cancelled, I'm so depressed."
And many more ignorant and idiotic comments keep on being said.
Anxiety isn't cute.
Anorexia isn't beautiful.
Panic/Anxiety Attacks isn't getting startled a bit.
OCD isn't just being organized.
Triggers aren't things that make you lightly annoyed.
Abuse isn't romantic.
Autism isn't some joke.
Social Anxiety isn't shyness.
Schizophrenia isn't people that are murderous monsters.
ADD isn't procrastinating.
Insomnia isn't purposely staying up all night.
Depression isn't just being sad all the time.
BPD isn't people that are evil.
Dyslexia/Dyscalcula isn't being an idiot or dumb.
And the list keeps expanding.
Educate yourself before being an ignorant imbecile.
