Photography as a way of coping with anxiety

i have already mentioned my insight about taking and creating photos before, but i wish to be more elaborate on that subject.

i very much enjoy taking and creating photos. They actually help me cope with my anxiety since i focus on the task and distract myself from the sense of imminent danger i constantly feel. In addition to being a method of coping with anxiety, it gives me a sense of satisfaction when i see the end result in contrast to the original photo.

Furthermore, the praise and compliments i receive for the photos helps me feel slightly better about myself since it contributes something positive to my already terrible sense of self.

i enjoy making and taking photos for others. An example would be for my sibling. Given that my sibling is in a soccer team, they have to build a profile specifically for sports purposes, which means the profile is to help him get noticed by different coaches to recruit them, showcase their skills and dexterity, show achievements in different areas, etc.
My sibling usually asks me to go with them to their games so i can take photos and videos for their profile, including Polaroid photos (basic art hœ me, i know).

Another thing i love is to make my own book covers, because it makes me feel accomplished with the fact that i actually managed to do something on my own and showcase it. It gives me some pride in the fact that i can say "Yes, i made this all myself without help and it looks great".

On a side note, i will be changing the cover for this book/self-help/loggs/i don't know. i got a much better cover in mind which i plan on making soon, given that the current cover was me experimenting with some features.
