Chapter 18-Leaving

"Guys, I'm really sorry that I ruined our summer trip. Please don't hate me forever?" I looked at my two best friends as we sat around our apartment. I had just sent in the article and now I was fixing to call and quit both jobs. That would mean we would have to leave London. Not that I wanted to stay.

"We don't hate you. We think you are the utmost stupid. There is a difference, no matter how small," Vera said, smiling, but her eyes held no humor. They were having to leave the boys, too. I was going to miss them so much.

"Thanks, you know, if you want, I'll give you all my vacation money, that way you guys could stay. It should be enough to rent an apartment for the summer."

"What? No, we wouldn't stay here while you go back! We got to come here because of you, this was your dream, we were along for the ride. It wouldn't be as much fun without you, either," Emma exclaimed. I started to cry. I loved my friends so much. Why were they so perfect?

"Yeah, you think I could put up with this butt licker for the whole summer by myself?" Vera questioned, she got smacked in the face by Emma. I laughed at them. I also take the perfect thing back.

"I'm going to call. Keep the noise level down. Strangle her, it's quieter," I announced, walking out of the room as Vera tackled Emma to the floor. The monkeys.

"Yes, hello, Paul? It's Hailie, I'm sorry, but I have to quit. I'm so sorry it's such short notice. Good-bye, it was nice knowing you," I hung up before he could respond with much more than a grunt. One down, one to go. They picked up on the third ring.

"Hello, you have reached Gossip Gab, how may I help you?"

"Can I speak to Rebekka? It's Hailie."

"One moment, please," I waited for about five minutes.

"What do you want?"

"Did you receive my email?" I questioned, I needed to make sure they got it first.

"Yes, I sent it to Sally. It should be in the next issue, how's your lover boy?"

"Uh, what? I have no idea what you mean."

"I was talking about Harry, I heard about your scandal. It's a shame, really. Now we all know what kind of girl he likes."

"Okay, rude much? You don't know me and you sure don't know Harry, so keep your snide comments to yourself. I quit." and with that, I hung up. I will not put up with people being rude to me. I sighed and went to pack my bags.

"Have a nice flight," the cheery flight attendant said to us as we boarded the plane. It was going to be anything but nice. I put my headphones in and put on some Maroon 5. It's scary how close some of these songs mirror how I'm feeling. A brunette did the basic before flight instruction thing, I didn't hear a word of it. I leaned back in my seat and zoned out. Good-bye, crazy life.

Harry's POV-

"Harry, you got to quit moping about. Forget about Hailie," Louis said, walking into my room where I was laying on my bed. I was a mess.

"I can't forget about her! Everything reminds me of her! I had to throw out my favorite jacket because I could still smell her perfume on it. Why did she do that to me?"

"I don't know, mate. I really don't. But you shouldn't stay cooped up in here thinking about her. Have you tried calling her?

"No, I don't want to talk to her. She used me. She wrote terrible things about me, and yet I'm not angry. I'm more disappointed. I...I love her."

"I know, Harry. I wish I knew what to do to make it better."

"I could use some ice cream and tea."

"You got it, dude," I said, excitedly and ran out of the room to get his pick me up. He really needed to get Hailie off his mind.

****Hey, guys!!! I'm headed to church in a few minutes so I won't update for a few hours.  What is in-store for Harry and Hailie? Why do you think Hailie wrote terrible things about Harry? What is going on??? Must see some comments before I update. Love you guys! Keep on being my weird little nuggets. Hehe XD <3 ~Kita x
