Chapter 11-Concert/Date

I fell asleep on the way. When I woke up I heard voices, so of course I pretended to still be asleep.

"She is so dumb sometimes," I heard a deep voice say. Whoever that is, is dead. When I decide to 'wake up'.

"You don't think that she is just playing dumb, right? Like maybe she does know we were talking about her, but she is just pretending not to know?" the other person in the room wondered. I felt someone stare at my face. OMG! That is Louis and Harry! When were they talking about me?

"Nope, she really doesn't know. She told me to go ahead and ask the 'lucky' girl, but to be careful and make sure she doesn't like you back, so it doesn't cause problems," Harry replied. Wow, they told each other everything. Homos.

"Hey!" Niall's Irish accent rang through the room. I almost smiled, but I held it in. Niall was so innocent and sweet. I loved him, like a brother or best friend.

"Hey, Nialler," Harry replied. I heard some grunts, so I guess they did their stupid 'bro' hug.

"When she fall asleep?" Niall asked, I pictured him motioning to me with his head, because he was holding food in his hands. I think I smell cookies...

"In the car, I carried her in," Harry answered, both Niall's question and my unspoken one. I smiled, unable to hold it back. I rolled over on the couch, and fell into the floor. I totally went the wrong way.

"I meant to do that," I grumbled as they snickered at me.

"Yeah, whatever," Niall mumbled. He's dead. I got off the floor and brushed myself off. Running up to him, I yanked the cookies out of his hands.

"You dirt bag!" He screeched, grabbing at the bag of cookies. I ran around the room, looking for a place to hide.

"Help, Lou!" I yelled at the boy just standing their laughing at us. I ran behind him, and he held off Niall as I ate the last of the cookies.

"You are so mean! Why did you do that to me, I'm starving!" Niall hollered, waving his arms around.

"Obviously," I retorted, as I sat on the couch. He came and sat by me. After a minute, he punched me in the arm. I turned my head and gave him a look. He busted out laughing. In return, I tackled him to the ground.

"Help, get this crazy girl off me," Niall yelled, trying to get out from under me. I knew he was claustrophobic, so I didn't get right in his face. He kicked his legs and started bucking around.

"Vas happening?" Zayn yelled, in a really bad American accent. I started laughing and Niall rolled me off him. I heard Zayn's voice echo in my head and I began asking myself that question.

What is happening? Where is my life going right now? I'm spiraling out of control. Everything is a mess. I don't want to write that article, Harry and these boys have become my good friends in these past few days. I don't want to betray them. I mean it's not like I would try to hurt them, but what would people say about it. 'Journalist undercover becomes Harry Styles's assistant for a story?' That sounds terrible. Why did I take this assignment?

"Because you are selfish and only wanted a chance to meet one of your favorite bands. They will hate you after you write it, and you can get in trouble if you don't. You have a big problem right now, and what are you doing? Laying on the floor crying." My inner-voice told me.

I stood up and ran for the bathroom. After locking the door, I sat on the sink. Get a hold of yourself, girl. You are smart and you can overcome this. Think.

But before I could I heard knocking on the door.

"Hailie? Hailie, are you alright?" Harry asked through the door. Great, the one person I really needed to see right now. I thought sarcastically to myself.
