I opened the door to San's bedroom. I went in and found my brother still sleeping. I put my hand on his shoulder and start shaking him.

"Brother, wake up. Its already 7.30!" I exclaimed.

"5 more minutes, Paps..." He groaned.

"Why are you like this? You always woke up earlier than me," I asked him.

Suddenly, his eye sockets shot wide open. He fell to the ground, in agony. I knelt down, grabbing his arm, "Brother, what's wrong?"

"P-paps, y-you're still... Here," He looked at me.

His eye sockets were filled with fear.

"Calm down Brother, I am, here. I'm not going anywhere," I stroked his back.

I assumed that he had a nightmare.

"Wh-what's today's day?"

"Friday,"

He stop breathing for a moment. Then he started to breath in and out slowly.

"S-sorry, it was just a nightmare I had about you.. I don't want to talk about it," He rubbed the back of his neck, "I'm going to change.. So uh, if you don't mind.."

"Oh sorry, I will take my leave now," I left the room and closed the door.

I leaned against his door. My assumption was correct but for some reason... It didn't felt right. It's as if, he was hiding something from me. I shook my head, deeply hoping that it was just my imagination.

I went to the kitchen to cook pancakes for us. After 15 minutes, I heard a door slowly opening and closing back.

"Sans?" I peeked out of the kitchen.

"Yea?" He answered.

"Are you feeling better?" I asked.

"Yea..." He said.

My imagination was getting wild again. For some reason, I sense something wrong within him. He was lying to me. Am I really imagining things or am I just being in denial? There's no way he would keep a secret from me right?

I shut my eye sockets tight, trying to ease the pain if he did kept a secret from me. Maybe it was too personal. Maybe he didn't know how to put it in words.

Or Maybe... He didn't trust you.

My eyes sockets shot wide open. I refused to believe that! Even if he kept such a secret from me... I know his intention was good. I.. Believe him.

I put 4 pancakes on each plate. Then I realised I accidentally cooked an extra pancake. I put it on Sans's plate.

"Breakfast is ready," I said.

I put mine plate on the table and San's plate on the other side of it. I sat on my seat, waiting for him to come over. He came and sat right in front of me.

"Let's eat, Brother!" I said cheerfully.

He simply nodded. I looked at him for the last time before I eat... He looks... Dead..
I ate my food while watching him at the same time. Indirectly, from the corner of my eye sockets. He seemed to realised that I put an extra pancake on his plate and gave out a sad smile. Suddenly he pushed his food away and put his folded arms on the table. Then, he buried his face in his arms. I started to hear whimpers and sobs from him.

My concern grew larger and larger. I couldn't take it anymore. I stood up and walked over to him. I knelt down beside him. I put my hand on his shoulder, rubbing it with my thumb, "Brother, what's the actual matter?"
