I tried teleporting but I couldn't. I wasted my very last energy on pinning Papyrus down. I should have asked Gerson for some food. Guess I had to walked back to Snowdin...
Little did I know... I shouldn't have taken my own sweet time on the way back.
As I was walking, the atmosphere was dead both in Waterfalls and in Snowdin.
What the fuck is going on here?
This was way deadlier than the monsters desperately trying to kill eachother. Its... Giving me the suspense of a jumpscare that is about to appear but... There was no jumpscare.
Man... Today weather was colder than usual. It even creates a fog in Snowdin. I couldn't see a thing.
Then I saw.... A chair? Specifically... A wheelchair. I realised there was a monster sitting on it but their back was facing me. As I got closer, the shape of the monster was familiar...
It was Papyrus.
"Hey Papyrus," I called him out.
I put my hand out to reached for his shoulder. Suddenly....
Slash.
It took a minute for me to realised what had just happened.
Papyrus eye sockets were as wide as the saucers. His head slide off his body. His body and head turned into dust immediately.
"P-papyrus?..."
No response.
Slowly the reality sinks in within me...
He was... Dead.
I stared at the white dust... Then it hit me. My eye sockets were slowly burning, and I could feel the heavy weight in my heart. I fell down to my knees. My face was buried in my hands.
My eyes dripped with tears. The walls that had been holding me up, making me strong just... Collapsed. Moment by moment, they fall. Salty drops fall from my chin, drenching my shirt. I'm trembling... I can't stop.
I didn't get to apologize to him. I didn't tell him how much he means to me... And how much I love him... I failed... I failed as an older brother.
I grabbed the scarf that was left on his wheelchair.
"PAPYRUS! PLEASE COME OUT NOW! PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS JUST ONE SICK JOKE. PLEASE PAPYRUS, I DON'T CARE ANYMORE, JUST COME OUT....!"
But there was no response.
"Please... Don't do this to me..."
I was too stubborn... No, not stubborn... I was too distraught to accept the truth. The truth that he was gone.
My thoughts were interrupted by someone's footsteps. It came closer and closer as it got louder. I looked up... And to my surprise... It was a human.
My face has become rigid, jaw clamped tight, teeth grinding. There was this feeling that was welling up in me. I wrapped the scarf around my neck. I can feel Papyrus giving me the support. Then, it burst out of me,
"You... YOU FUCKING BRAT!"
She flinced and in self defense, tried to stabbed me but I grabbed her arm and snapped it into two.
She gave out a bloody scream but it was instantly interrupted as I took her dagger and penetrated her throat. Blood spill out of her mouth and her eyes rolled back. She make a sickening choking noise. She reached out to me with her only functional arm. I pushed her by kicking her chest down. As she fell down flat, I step on the dagger which went deeper in her throat. She tried to budge my leg with her one arm but she couldn't. I could finally see her life slowly leaving her body.
