Sans was tackled by a...
FUCKING ANNOYING DOG.
I facepalm so hard that I thought I was going to cracked my skull, "Sans, brother, please do not scared me again."
"Sorry bro! The annoying dog was so adorable," he hugged the dog tightly.
I sighed in relief and sat beside him. I stared at the 'stars' and they were still beautiful even if they aren't real. Suddenly, I remembered something.
"Sanssssss! Hurry up, Brother!" I whined.
"I need a nap," Sans yawned.
"Brother, stop joking around and come here quick!" I gave him a stern look.
He purposely took his time to get there. I came to him and grabbed his hand, dragging him all the way to the location.
"Paps, calm down!"
"You're too slow!"
"I'm not as young as you Paps," Sans gave in and let me dragged him.
I sat down and tapped the ground, signalling for him to sit next to me. He did what I asked him to, and sat beside me.
I looked up and stared at the stars,"Brother, the stars are more sparklier than usual!".
"Paps, they aren't stars," said Sans.
"Wha.. Really?! Then what are they?" I asked in disbelief.
"They are stones that shines brightly," Sans layed on the grass.
"Then where are the stars?" I layed beside him.
"They are up in the human world," Sans raised his hand up as if he reaching for something, "I would love to see them as well".
"Can't we just go there?" I looked at him.
Sans bring his hand down,"Its not as easy as you think Paps. Long time ago, humans and monsters were living in harmony. Then, there was an outbreak of a war between the monsters and humans. Humans were physically stronger than us, so we were defeated. We were trapped in this underground and no one is able to get back to the surface unless,"
"Unless?" I looked at him curiously.
"Unless the King has 7 human souls. The strength of one human soul is equivalent to all the monster in underground, let alone having 7 souls. With the 7 souls, we could break the barrier and rise up to the surface again," Sans throw his arm over his eyes.
"How many souls does the King have now?" I sat up and looked at him.
"6"
"How does the King able to get the souls?"
Silence.
"Sans? Brother?" I lifted his arm off.
"When you are older, you will understand. Now its not the time," Sans sat up.
"Sansss," I whined, "I am an grown up!"
"Trust me lil bro, the time still haven't arrive yet," He wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
"Fine, I trust you," I sighed.
"Now tell me what Undyne teached you during training today," Sans grinned.
