I looked at mirror. I can't believe the day has arrive. I heard a faint knock from the living room's door. I went downstairs and opened the door.
"I'm here for...him," Undyne said softly.
"Come in," I gestured her in.
She came in with the stretcher with wheels and I locked the door. She stood there waiting for me.
"Could you give us... A few minutes, before you take him away?" I asked.
"Understood."
I went upstairs to visit Papyrus. I open the door and smiled at him.
"Hey, bro," I sat beside him, "Good Morning."
As usual, there was no response.
"Today's the day," I tried to composed myself.
"I wished you are here with me right now. I been crying when I think about it. I miss your smile, your laugh, and now I live without them," I started to sniffle.
"Remember that you said that you were jealous of me being smart? Honestly, it wasn't the best thing in the world but I just couldn't let you know because that's literally, what we fought about," I wiped the tears that was leaving my eye sockets.
"When I was 7, I never truly been accepted by others as well. I was... Too smart and that resulted me getting bullied. Dr. Gaster was too tired to deal with it, so he put me into homeschool. I thought to myself, what happens if I was just some average kid? Would the others accept me? So, I keep saying to myself that it's my fault and that I let it up which makes me tear myself down," the tears won't stop flowing.
"I was surrounded by adults. I have no friends to talk to or to have fun with. I was just... Lonely. No matter how much I told myself that every night will have a brighter day, my self-esteem just keep lowering itself," I buried my face into his shoulder.
"I won't forget my darkest days. I was sitting there wishing for a sign, that there was something that is worthy to live for. Then, the following year, Dr. Gaster made you and everything changed. You were my light," I sat up and gave him a sad smile.
"You made me forget the label that was hanging around my neck. The smart kid. Even though, I was older and smarter than you, you never seem to see all of that. You always smiled at me and bring me your homemade sandwich whenever I'm done with my work," I caress his head.
"Everyday, I would just look forward to what you have to offer and your conversation never seem to bored me. Even if your conversations doesn't make any sense, you always make me unconsciously smiling to myself."
"Till that day, everything change. You were all alone in the cell. You slowly built your walls too high that no one was able to climb over and love you. The light grew a little less bright as we grow apart."
I hold his hand, "But I still love you no matter what."
"Sans... I'm sorry to interrupt you.. But We are running out of time," Undyne said sadly.
"No it's okay, its my fault. Sorry Undyne," I apologized.
I gave my last words to him, "I just wanted to say, I love you and I'm going to miss you a lot... When I'm gone."
I hugged him tightly, and gave him a kiss on his wrapped head, "Goodbye."
I gestured Undyne to take him away. She carried Papyrus and went downstairs to put him on the strecher.
"Hey... Before I go... I want to hand you a little of bit of something," she said.
She took out a folded paper from her pocket.
