Thank you all for reading. You are the best

With the day coming to a close, Dave retired for the night, but not before waiting for Alisha's sheets to finish their dry cycle. With a half hour gone by, it was safe to assume she was showered and ready to make her bed. However, Alisha had only just gotten the tub filled for a hot bath. She stripped down to nothing and sank her foot in first, through the rising steam of the water.

"That's perfect," she thought.

Just when she was ready to settle in, she realized she forgot something. She stepped out of the tub, naked and dragging a small trail of water, and dashed into her room to grab her earphones. As she dug into her bag to retrieve them, Dave knocked on her room door.

"Hey, Alisha, your sheets are done."

Alisha panicked. Granted, her door was locked, but it was still awkward to know that only half an inch of a metal lock separated her naked body from the sights of Dave. Even behind closed doors, she pretended to cover her respective parts with her left arm and right hand.

"Oh, okay! Just leave them there. I will come get them in a minute. Thanks!" she said uncomfortably and quickly, trying to get Dave to go away so she could return safely to her hot bath.

"Oh. Alright. I'm going to head over to the bunkhouse to check and see if the guys returned," he said.

"Sure. Goodnight!" Alisha answered oddly.

"Uh, yeah, goodnight to you too," Dave responded the same way.

With Dave believing she was cleaned up and ready for bed, he left the sheets at the door. Meanwhile, Alisha was glad that Dave was going to the bunkhouse, as it would give her time to bathe. She got her earphones and rushed back into the tub. She felt a quick feeling of relief, a combination of surviving near-embarrassment and the feeling of hot water covering her curvy exterior. She felt good. So she plugged her earphones in, put the ear buds in her ears, laid back in the steaming water, and closed her eyes with the sound of her favorite tunes taking over her complete sense of awareness.

Elsewhere, Dave headed out the side door from the kitchen when his phone buzzed. It was John.

"Hey, boss. Guys are a little drunk and rowdy, but we're heading back soon. No worries," the text read.

John was the designated driver, and with them not even having left yet, Dave decided to call it a night instead. He turned out the lights, other than a night light in the kitchen, and went back to his room. With a long, stressful day in the books, the only thing keeping Dave from a good night's sleep was a nice shower of his own. He undressed down to nothing, grabbed his towel, and quietly entered the bathroom to not awake what he thought was a sleeping Alisha in the next room. Problem was, and unknown to him, was that Alisha was actually relaxing in the tub. With her music blasting in her earphones and her eyes closed under a sleep mask, she was completely oblivious to anything around her, especially while under the belief that Dave was at the bunkhouse. On the contrary, Dave thought she had went to sleep, and with her not making a peep, he didn't notice her in there. So, with Alisha in the tub on one end, Dave entered his shower on the other. While washing up, he was unable to hear her start singing "The Kiss," by Faith Hill, one of Alisha's favorites. But, like any man, Dave finished his shower only minutes later, just in time to hear singing. His heart almost jumped out of his chest.
