When Dave and Alisha entered the waiting room, Kimberly and Dylan were there. His sister froze the image of Alisha with her arms wrapped around Dave's arm as they approached. When they saw each other, Alisha was excited to announce that her stitches were gone, and she nearly exposed herself to prove it.

"Hey, stop. You nearly damn well mooned the waiting room," Dave told her with a small chuckle.

Alisha looked around.

"It's not even eight o'clock yet, Dave, so there's no one here, plus I have a thong on."

Dave looked around.

"Okay, you're half right, but a thong doesn't do much covering on that ass, you know," he said with a sarcastic grin.

"Speaking of ass, I could go for some bacon over waffles. What do you think, Dave?" Dylan asked.

They cracked up. Dave's mind became fixated on Alisha's body, but he shook it off.

"Well, if you put it like that, Dylan, then let's go to the nearest waffle joint. It's my treat."

"Why not the diner?" Alisha asked.

"Uh, well, sweetheart, because I know the guys will be there, and I think we should eat a breakfast with just the four of us for a change."

Alisha was on board.

After a short and mostly sing-along-filled drive to the restaurant, they made their way inside and were seated by the young hostess. There was nothing quite like the peaceful feeling of a day's morning, with the scent of fresh coffee and waffles illuminating throughout the air. Only a few residents were inside, so it was very pleasant. They made their orders, and as soon as the waitress walked away, Kimberly texted Alisha, despite sitting next to her.

With Dave scrolling through his phone, and Dylan using the restroom, Kimberly obviously wanted to mention something to her that she didn't want Dave to hear.

"Thanks so much again for letting us stay until the cook out."

Alisha let out a tiny laugh, then played along and texted back.

"Of course! That gives me two more weeks of sleeping with your brother. "

Kimberly wanted to pop with giggles. Dave took notice of both of them simultaneously texting. His sister wrote back, anyway.

"I'm having a blast here. You and Dave are hilarious together, and frankly, I think we'll be BFFs by the time we leave."

Alisha answered.

"I think Dave is watching us. Let's pause for now, so he doesn't snatch one of our phones," Alisha texted back.

They both looked up to see Dave grinning, but his thoughts were interrupted by his needs.

"Gotta pee. Be right back."

Inside, Dylan was washing his hands while Dave lined up against the urinal. No one else was inside, other than the sweet voices of the Beach Boys playing through the restaurant's speakers.

"Hey, Dave. We truly appreciate this. You know, putting us up and stuff...."

"No problem. Let me ask you something," Dave replied.

"Sure, Dave, what's up?"

"What do you see when you look at Alisha?"

Dylan thought for a second.
