A shopping trip with a toy-deprived four and two year old could mean one or two things for Alisha and Betty. One, they'd be asked to buy everything because they have nothing, or, they'd be asked to buy nothing because the children are used to having nothing. Luckily, for Alisha's precious savings, she was asked to buy exactly what she intended to buy. Although, Liliana wasn't too excited about being in a furniture store, at least until the sales associate guided them to the children's bedroom sets. Until they got there, Alisha asked Liliana for her favorite colors. Purple and pink, they were.

"What are your favoritest colors, Miss Alisha? Liliana asked.

"Blue and green," Alisha responded.

"No way! Those are my daddy's!"

Betty laughed.

Then her eyes lit up.

"That bed looks like Cinderella's carriage! Can I lay in it, Granny? Please?"

"Alisha?" Betty redirected the question.

"Well, you did say please, so okay, go ahead and tell me if it's comfy," Alisha said.

Liliana was beyond excited. Never in her innocent dreams, did she expect a bed set to match Cinderella's carriage. With it, came a matching dresser and night stand that even Alisha liked.

"It's so soft. I wish I could sleep in it every day!" Liliana said with desire.

"You will!" Alisha told her.

Without debate, Alisha found the sales person and asked for them to load a flatbed with each unassembled furniture piece. Liliana jumped for joy. Across the girls beds were the boys' beds, with a small one in the corner, depicting Dave Jr's favorite train, Thomas.

"Oh, how perfect!" Alisha thought.

"Little Davie loves his trains," Betty claimed.

Dave Jr pointed and smiled, repeating Thomas' name over and over.

There were no doubts for Alisha. She added that to the load and made her purchases without question. Both kids were in an unusual state of cheer, with Liliana well aware of what she was getting, and Dave Jr just happy to not have the bed set leave his sight, which showed the picture on the large, heavy box.

"Good thing they had the bed sets in stock even though they aren't assembled. Now they can fit in the back of my truck and we won't have to worry about someone damaging them during shipping."

"Are you going to put them together?" Betty asked.

"Oh no. They have an assembly service for that. I'll just have them add that fee and they'll come by next week."

Betty watched Alisha, wondering if she was for real, or just a really good fake. But considering the delight she could see in Alisha's face, even when it came to dropping $750 for both of the furniture sets, it was obvious that Alisha was indeed a real saint.

As they exited the furniture store, the employee gladly loaded up the beds and furniture into the bed of the truck.

"Okay, who wants to go to the mall? Alisha asked.

Liliana was the first to answer, and her excitement made it obvious that she wanted to go.

"Can we go to that princess store, Granny? Please!"
