Chapter 3

Dinner went well. Now I'm saying goodbye to Ariana and mum. We standing outside, near her car. With Ariana crying on my shoulder. I hug her tight, "Promise you won't fall for dumb guys?" I said as I breath in her sweet scent. She chuckle hoarsely, "I promise."

Mum laugh, "Now give your mother a big hug!" she exclaimed. I pull away from Ariana and hug her. "I'm sorry for sending you here. But maybe it'll be the best for you." she whispers. I nod, "I don't hate you ma. I love you." I said. "So much." My voice crack.

Tears fall down my eyes and I cried in mum's chest. "I love you too baby." She said. We may argued a lot but I still love her no matter what.

She pulled away from me, "Now you promise you won't smoke okay?" she told me firmly. I laugh and shrug, "No promises mum."

She smile and pull me and Ariana in for a hug, "I'll miss you guys." I breath out.

All of is sitting in the living room. The tv is on but it's on mute. The twins and Diana and dad sit on the couch. I sat on the single seat near the couch. I was on my phone texting Ariana. Don't judge me but I miss her already.

"How are you?" I heard Dad ask.

I look up at him a for a brief and look back on my phone, "Really dad? Are we making a conversation here?" I stated. He sigh, "I miss you." he said sincerely. I snort, "You sure do know how to show it."

"What happened Adri? You've changed."

I finally look up from my phone. Everyone is looking between me and dad, "Ya. Pain does that to people." I told him coldly and stood up. I left the living room and up the stairs to my room.

I throw myself on my bed and sigh, "Wish I know where's the club is." I mumbled. I stood up from the bed and took out the ashtray that I've kept in my drawer. I open the window and sit on the window seat. I took out my cigarette and light it up.

I took a huge drag and blow the smoke out. Though I didn't just took one, I took at least 3. But damn, I need alcohol. I sigh in annoyance and left my room. I walk down the stairs to the hallway and in the kitchen

Diana and dad standing at the sink, talking. As soon as I walk in, they stopped talking and look at me. "Why did I smell like you just smoke?" dad asked. He look mad.

I rolled my eyes, "That's because I just smoke up in my room. Don't worry I have my ashtray. Plus you have a nose that's why you could smell." I said nonchalantly.

"You smoking?" he asked in disbelief.

"Yes I am. I just told you I smoke up in my room. Jeez keep it up dad." I said and took the glass and filled in with water.

"Harris, come on. Let's go to bed." Diana said softly. He look at her, "Go to bed? Dian, my daughter is smoking. Who knows what she's been up to lately?" he exclaimed.

"Cut her some slack. You've left, let her be." she said defending me. Somehow Diana has grew on me. She's nice and sweet. Dad groaned and stomped off. Diana look at me apologetically and I give her a grateful smile.

"I'll be in my room just down the hallway. Knock the door if you need anything kay?" she said. I nod my head and drink my water.

I went back up my room and changed into my tank top and booty shorts and go to bed. I would just sleep in my underwear but Its a chilly night.

The next morning, I had a hard time waking up cause you see the bed is very comfortable. But I got up anyway and take a quick shower. I changed into my crop top and jeans short. I put on my denim jacket and my big top converse. I brush my hair and just grab my backpack and phone from the nightstand and left the room. The denim jacket was hanging on my arm. I decide to just wear it when I leave the house.

I got in the kitchen and everyone stop and stare at me. I rolled my eyes. "I didn't know you had lot of tattoos." Georgina said. Her eyes look really excited. I smirk, "That's because you never ask."

Jack laugh, "Well that's hot."

I snort and took a sit beside Ivory. She had on a pink dress and her hair is neatly braided. She smile up at me and continue to eat her cereal.

I seem to be out of the picture. With tattoos almost cover my arm, piercing almost occupied my ear lobe. I had pierce on my belly button. Well I'm totally out of the perfect family.

"Adri, aren't you eating breakfast?" Diana voice break through my thoughts. I look at her and start eating. "Well, Jack gonna drive you to your school today. Your car and bike will be here in the night. You can drive to school yourself tomorrow." she told me. I nod my head and got up.

"No goodbye kiss?" Ivory ask with her eyes wide and her baby voice. I'm guessing she's 3 or 4 I don't know. I smile and kiss her cheeks, "Bye baby cheeks." I said and leave the kitchen.

"This school is a total cliche. There's queen bee, wannabes and all that sort of shit. Keep your out of the radar and you should be fine.." Georgina babbling about the school. honestly, I didn't really paid attention to her. I was absentmindly playing games on my phone.

"Die you filthy bitch!" I exclaimed as I getting more into this game. Jack chuckle, "Bad girl is into a game. My dream girl." he sigh dreamily.

"Ah! I died. Stupid game." I muttered.

Geoargina look at me, her blonde hair is up on a neat ponytail and she had her glasses on. "Why didn't you wear contacts Georgina?" I asked her.

"Poeple make fun of me. And please call me George or Gina." she say. More like vaGina, haha I'm thinking pun.

Jack snickered, "More like vaGina!" he sang. I laugh and point at him. "That's what I just thought! So I'm just gonna call you Georgie okay." I stated. We reached the school and I sigh. I put on my denim jacket and got out the car.

People start staring at me and the twins, "Why are they staring?" I whispers.

Jack and Geoegie sigh, "We're like the outcast here." Jack mumbled. I stop dead in my tracks. "Why?" I exclaimed. Jack shush me and drag me along.

I rolled my eyes and slung my arm around their shoulder, "You have me now." I said. Geoegie snort, "Oh yay! The bad girl gonna protect me!" she said faking excitement. We laugh. "We'll meet you out here okay?"

I went into the office and to the front desk, "I'm Adriana Byron. I'm new." I told her bored. Yes I have mood swings issues. You can say I'm bipolar. She look up from her desk and type away in her computer before going to the printer.

"Here's your schedule. Your locker number is 39 down at hall B, here's the map to the school. Have a good day." she said monotone. I grab the things from her, "Jeez someone woke up at the wrong side of the bed." I mumbled quietly and left the office.

Ya chapter 3 is up. I'm suppose to be sleeping but I'm not. So I'm going to sleep now.. Btw, I'm in New York! Wee hahaha
