Chapter 34

Zac POV

Its been two weeks she's still not waking up. I miss staring into her beautiful hazel eyes. Some of the machines has been removed from her and since she can finally breathe by herself. So that's a good thing.

She's making progress slowly.

She's not that pale anymore. I kiss her hand which I held on and stare at her face, hoping she could just wake up already.

"Come on babe. I miss your voice." I whispered.

You're a whipped, a voice said in my head. I just groaned and rest my forehead on her hand.

I felt her fingers twitch. I bolted upright, staring intently at her hand. But I think it's my imagination. I just sigh and held her hand in between both of my hands. I brought it up to my lips and let it stay there longer than necessary.

The door to the room open and Meredith walked in. "Hey Zach." she said quietly before she kiss my forehead. I just nod my head and stare blankly at the wall.

I heard her sigh from beside me, "Don't get your hopes too high Zach. She might not come back." she said quietly and slowly, afraid I might blow up. I want to scream at her face so bad but I don't have the energy for that anymore.

"She'll come back. She's gonna be okay, Meredith. Don't say otherwise." I told her. My voice sound weak. Damn, I hardly know this girl and she's already effected me big time.

"Hey Zach. Have some food please." Meredith said as she hand a sandwich. I just take it away from her and put it on my lap.

It's been 2 weeks, 4 days and she's not waking up. I sigh as I hold her hand while the other I rubbed my face.

I felt her hands twitch from my hold. I look at her and her eyes start fluttering open. Once her eyes fully open and as she adjust her eyesight from the bright light, I hug her to me.

"Oh god Adri. You're okay." I murmured as I buried my face in her hair.

She pull away and examine my face. Her face are blank and emotionless. I was worried.

All of sudden, her lips stretched to a grinned. She point to the cup beside her bed. I get the point and quickly got the water for her.

For the past hours, she's been asking about everyone and all. The doctor has checked all her system and organs and she's okay. Though her wrist and leg still healing. She can only take off the cast next week or two weeks later.

"You know, this is the second time I had to wear this Stupid cast." she grumbled as she tried to walk out the toilet.

"I told you to called me when you've done in there." I scolded and went up to help her. She smile at me, "You need to loosen up Zach. As you can see, I'm totally alive. Relax." she whispered as she kiss my jaw. I look down on her and smile, a real smile after so long.

Adriana's POV

Its been four months since the day of the incident. Robert and his gang has finally got locked up and they won't going out anytime soon. Dad and I had start over from where he left of. Ariana and Jack has gotten pretty serious. I'm happy for them. Jack seems the right guy for her. Georgie finally had her very first boyfriend last month and he is one hell of a good looking guy, Ryder. Yes Ryder dated Georgie last month, they've been seeing each other after our talk and he somehow took interest in her.

At first Georgie rejected him, afraid that I'll hate her for that. But I get to reassure her that my feelings toward Ryder is none other the brotherly sister love.

"Babe, you're thinking so hard again."

I look up and Zach stood there grinning at me. It's my graduation day. Finally! You could say I'm really excited for it. "Just thinking about what has happened for the last couple of months." I said.

"You look lovely." he stated before he dipped his head and kiss my lips.

I smile and pull away, "Need to go already." I told him and walk away from him quickly. I make my way to my assign seat which is beside Ariana and some dude I don't know.

"Who knew you would actually graduated from high school with the higher GPA than me." Ariana teased as soon as I sit on the chair.

I smirk, "Told you I still got a brain Ana." I said as I nudge my arm at her. She rolled her eyes, "I'm really bored. I'm gonna fall asleep soon enough." she mumbled from beside me. I just grinned and shrug.

I already accepted my diploma from the principal and let's just say almost the whole school gawk at me. The student are just surprise to know that I actually manage to graduate while the parents probably cause they saw the tattoos that peeking out from the sleeves of my graduation gown.

I got off stage and ran over to my welcome family. I hug my dad. "I always knew you could do it." dad told me.

I snort, "No you didn't dad. You kind of had a very low expectation for me." I stated playfully. He laugh and shove me lightly and went over to Diana who smile warmly at me.

"We did it." Jack, Georgie, Ariana, Chris and I squeal.

"Okay that's the last time I'm gonna squeal like a little girl." Jack muttered making us all laugh.

Dad has let us throw a party and Jack and Chris is the one who organise it all. I've changed into my strapless red dress with black lace all over it. It flow from my waist area all the way down to my mid thigh. I curl my hair and apply some makeup on my face.

I grabbed my car keys and phone before leaving my apartment. I got in my car and start the engine before backing off the driveway and drove to dad's place. Diana and dad with the two little devil twins will be out of town tonight to give us some space. I can already hear the music blasted from the house before the house even came into view.

"Hey babe." Zach said before he peck my lips and wrap his arm around my waist and guide me inside.

Some of them are already drunk and half naked. "Jesus. Is this a party or a strip club?" I mumbled.

Zach laugh and his arm around me went tighter. "You look beautiful tonight. As always." he complimented. I rolled my eyes, "You're not getting laid tonight Zach. I'm exhausted."

"Dammit." he curse, "Well worth a shot anyway." He added after awhile.

It's been few hours of the party and my feet are sore from all the dancing. I'm still sober. For the first time in my life, I don't want to get drunk. I want to remember this day for the rest of my life.

Jack and Ariana are across from me laughing and talking. Georgie and Ryder by the corner, making out. Zach is talking to some dude I don't know. He smile at me when he caught my eyes. I grinned at him and look away.

Chris walk over and sat beside me, "Didn't I tell you Ad. You'll always have a brighter day." he said.

"You're right. Things can't be perfect the way I want it to be. But I'm glad in what I already have right now. It may not be a bright day for me everyday but i know I'll be happy as long as you guys are around me."
