Georgie step aside to let us in and we went to the dining room where everyone is sit in the dining table talking rather loudly. Carter, Vivien and Layla is also here. I look over at Chris, he seem to look over at his friend sadly. I know he miss them and I felt guilt for actually letting him stay with me all this time. I grab Chris hand and motion him to go for it.

He shook his head, "I'm here for you. Not for them." he said.

I rolled my eyes and scoff, "Just talk to them alright." I told him sternly and ignore him.

"Adriana." I heard Dad said before he walk in. He look over at Ryder and he eyed him up. Ryder felt rather uncomfortable. I rest my hand over his under the table and he instantly relax and turn his hand so he could intertwined our fingers.

"Hi dad." I answered.

Georgie smile fell off when she saw Diana walk in before she replace it with a grinned when she saw me looking at her.

I look over at Diana and notice how red and puffy her eyes were though she tried to hide it with heavy makeup. Dad on the other hand seem to be on edge.

Dinner went awfully slow and dad asked Ryder bunch of question. Personal question. "I don't have any plans for the future at the moment but I just want to graduate from college and I see where I go from there." Ryder asked, trying to keep calm but from the way his hold on my hand tightened I know he is about to blow up anytime soon.

"You can do so much better than this Adriana." that's all what dad said.

"Father," I warned.

"What? Its true." he defended.

I glare at him, "I don't care if Ryder is not rich or not smart. If he could keep me happy, that's more than enough. I don't care if he work in a cafe, heck I don't even care if he work in the streets. If he can keep the roof over our head is more than fucking enough." I said, my voice slightly raised.

Dad narrowed his eyes at me, "I just want you to do better. I don't want anyone to influence my daughter."

I rolled my eyes and laugh humorously. "If you haven't notice, you didn't act like a father of mine." I snapped.

"Watch your mouth young lady." he scolded.

I scoff and stood up, "I don't know you anymore. First, you cheated on Mum. Now, you cheated on Diana?" I said. Everyone look shocked on my outburst except for Diana, Georgie and Jack. "You know what dad? You're pathetic. You're not even a man or a father until you act like one. You managed to break every single one of your family member's heart and you don't even feel sorry for us?" I asked. My voice cracked.

"Dad, I don't care if you broke my heart or hurt me. But please don't break this family you built 2 years ago." I begged, "They love you unconditionally and it's not fair for them when you didn't do your part as a husband or a father."

"Its too late for you to mend the relationship we had. But it's never too late for you to fix the problems you created now. Please don't repeat the same mistake again dad." I pleaded before walking out of the dining room and out of the house where I let a single tear escape my eyes.

I walk down the stairs and wait outside the car, resting my head at the top of the car. I heard the footsteps before they reach me and grab my arm spinning me around and hold me close to them. It wasn't long for me to realise I was in Ryder's arm and I felt safe and calm. Chris standing beside me, smiling sadly at me.

"You're gonna be okay. We're here for you. Always." he promised.

I smile and shook my head, "Idiot You have no idea what you got yourself into."
