Chapter 25

I groaned and throw my cover off me and sat up while rubbing my eyes. I yawned and I heard my phone buzzed from my nightstand. I groaned and reach up for my phone and unlock it to see I've received a message from Robert, 'Be here by noon. Don't be late'

I grumbled and curse Robert and reluctantly walk up to my bathroom. I take my time to wash my hair and body but I know I had to get out of the shower anyway. I grumpily walk out the shower and dry myself.

I changed into my black dress. It is sheer around my waist area, it make me look like I had on a top and a skirt. I put on my leather jacket and red boots before grabbing my phone and left my room.

I internally groaned when I see Ryder and Jack are playing in the kitchen with their phones. Ariana is at Jack's side with his arm around her. I walk to the fridge and get a water bottle from it. "Where are you going?" I heard her asked.

I gulp the water and close the cap before turning around, "Somewhere." I replied nonchalantly.

She sigh, "Don't I matter to you anymore?"

"I'm just looking for a apartment so I can get out of here okay? Now get off my back." I lied.

Well I'm not really lying but I've already found an apartment to stay. Its manageable and its really cozy. "Why are you moving out?" Jack asked.

"I already told you to get off my back aren't I?" I snapped.

I walk out the kitchen and heading to the front door. I manage to get to my car until someone grab my arm and turn me around. My breathing hitched when I look into his black eyes.

"What are you hiding Adriana?" he asked. Concern, worried and anger laced his tone.

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever I hide, doesn't concern you." I said firmly and roughly tug my arm out of his grip and turn around.

"You can't just shut everyone out if you have a problem Adri." he said, obviously mad.

"I can't. But I can try." I said quietly and get in my car before roaring the car to live and drive off, leaving him there.

The drive to the warehouse only took me for an hour cause I break a lot of the rules. "You're here." Jake said as he grinned at me. He came over me and kiss my forehead before leading me inside.

"So Adriana here. Lets get to business." the boss announced.

Few hours has gone by and we finally know what's our next move on this Jeremy guy. "So Adri, tonight you have to deal with Fletcher. Do you know where he is?" the boss asked me as he settle in his seats.

I nod, "He'll be at the club a long with Andrea and Jerry and some girl called Amber." I told him.

He smirk, "Great. Bring them to me."

I groaned and hit my head on the table. Of all the things they choose to go to that club. "So it's Reece's club?" Jake asked.

I nod and flipped through the papers. "How do you even keep tracks of this people?" he asked me curiously.

I smirk, "I would tell you, but I have to kill you after."

He chuckled, "Okay then. Let's go hunting for this bitches!" he exclaimed and skip out the door.

Jake and I have gotten close this few days. But I find out, he have this romantic feelings towards me and I know I had to keep distance from him. I sigh and grab my leather jacket before following him out the door.

"Cole and Tyler is already there." I told Jake as he drive us to the club. Cole and Tyler are my so called helpers in my mission. Jake usually will be with Robert but today the boss send him with us.
