Chapter 33

Let say the minute we got there, it's all chaotic. I don't know who is who anymore. They're rolling around each other. Gun shot everywhere. I hardly can tell which is on my side.

"Well Well, you decide to make an appearance unexpectedly." I heard his gruff voice said.

I tense and turn around. He is standing there with a smirk plastered on his face. God How I would want to get rid the smirk of his so bad.

"Like the gift Adriana? Your family is in danger right now. Do you know that?" he said casually. And he smirk wider cause he knew he had hit a nerve.

"I mean Diana is beautiful. But I definitely bang Ariana. She's perfect with the perky butt and perfect boobs."

I sneered. "You disgusting old man. Find woman your own age. Come on!" I retorted.

"Why go for your own age when the younger ones will spread their legs happily for me?" He shot back.

"Because then, you'll be label perfectly as a pedophile." I answered and launched for him.

I get a few of a good punch on his face and manage to broke his nose when he shove me roughly making me trip on my other leg and fall over.

"You bitch! What have you done?!" he yelled angrily.

"Fixing your face just perfectly." I said monotone as I got up from the ground.

He hissed at me and launch. And that's how we rolled around the ground. Well if people sees it, it will give them the wrong idea but again. Its a dead and life situation, I shouldn't get distracted by that right now.

Robert's a guy, obviously he's winning. He pull his arm back but before he could throw his punch, someone pull him away from me and punch him hard in the face, knocking him out cold.

My visions is blurry, considering that Robert kind of cheated when I'm leading and he stab me at the side of my stomach causing me to lose my grip and that's how he winning. I'm losing a lot of blood too.

"Adri, sweetheart. Open your eyes." I heard the familiar angelic like voice said.

"Am I in heaven already?" I managed to mumbled. "Or do I have to go to hell?"

The voice chuckle, "Neither." he answered.

My face scrunched up in confusion. "You're not dead Adriana. So please open up your eyes, stay with me. We'll bringing you to the hospital. Just stay with me okay?" he demanded.

I felt him lifting me up from the ground and walk quickly to the who knows where. My eyes are droopy. I don't think I can stay up any longer.

"Don't you dare close your eyes on me Adriana!" the voice warned me. His voice held so much authority, it's kind of scare me a little.

"But I'm tired." I murmured.

"Just stay up. You can sleep later." he whispered. But I didn't listen, my visions turn black and my mind goes blank.

Oh great, it's either I'm blackout or I'm unconscious.

Zac's POV

I groaned when I notice that Adriana's eyes are closed. "Drive faster dammit." I snapped at Ryder who is at the driver seat with Chris at the passenger seat.

The minute I received call from Chris which I don't know how he got my number. I rushed out my house and go get them so they could lead me to the girl. My girl.

My arms around Adri tightened. I can't lose her. I can't lose Adriana like how I lose Jackie. Its not fair anymore.

The girls I fall for would always leave me after they found out that I'm involve in a gang. In this case, Adri didn't leave me. But there's a high chance she'll die seeing how much blood she's losing right now.

You're not suppose to think like that you dimwit. A voice snapped inside my head.

Ya, I should think positive. Adriana will be alright. She promise me that we will work things out between us. She couldn't just break the promise already.

"Dude, she'll be okay. She's a hell of a fighter." Ryder told me.

I look at him and he nod his head in reassurance. We got at the hospital in no time and we rushed in the front doors.

Once the nurses saw us and when their eyes fall on the girl in my arms looking lifeless, they rush me over to the emergency room and some nurse push me out of the room once I laid Adri down on the bed.

I'm about to protest when they close the door in my face.

I gape at the door. "Come on. Relax." Chris said as he grabbed my arm and make me sit on the seats that is just outside the room.

I sat down and stare off into spaces. Few hours has gone by. The doctors still didn't show up yet.

What took them so long in there?

I feel someone sit beside me but I ignored it. I'm too worried about my girl to even acknowledge whoever sit beside me.

"Adriana is a fighter. Keep that in mind Zac." its Ryder. I could tell by the worried and pain in his voice, it's him.

"How did you let her go easily? Considering that the two of you so in love." I asked. I couldn't help but ask.

He laugh lightly, "We always thought we were. That is until we broke things off that we realise, we feel lonely and need a little love. So we assumed things that aren't meant to be." He stated.

"Man, you sound gay. But that's sweet anyway." I answered.

I finally look up and turn to him. "Tell me Ryder. Do you still love her?"

He smile, a small smile. "Yes."

"Do you still in love with her?" I asked again.

"No."

I was taken aback by his answer. I always thought he still in love with her. He must have notice my expression cause he grinned at me.

"Like I said man, she's my happiness yes. But she's not my partner in life. We may think we in love with each other but the feelings is just that we're lonely and we treat each other as a family. We just too blind to see the real feelings. Man, I'm giving her to you. Please don't go breaking her heart. If you do, I'll personally will kill you then kidnap her and marry her." he told me then he nod like it's a good idea.

We heard someone sniffed and turn our head. "That is so sweet. I almost fall in love with you." Chris exclaimed.

Ryder look at him wide eyes and he had the 'what the fuck' look on his face.

My family and Adriana's family are here looking at me worriedly. I shrug and shook my head, letting them know I didn't know anything yet.

Just then the door to the room open. The doctors walk out and smile grimly at us. "Adriana lose a lot of blood, broke a few of her ribs, twisted ankle, broken left leg and left wrist. I guess the incident cause her body to go on shock and so she's in coma." he told us before walking away.

The nurse smile sadly. "Do you want to see her?"

We all nod. She open the door wider and gesture us to go inside. Though, Jack, Georgie Diana and the two little twins and my siblings stay behind.

I almost fall on my knees when I see how lifeless Adriana is. She's laying there looking so pale with lot of tubes attached to her. Guess it help her alive. There's a cast on her left leg and on her left wrist. She just look lifeless, I almost think she couldn't make it.
