Chapters 16

I groaned and roll over but I hit a solid chest and an the arm around me hold me tight. Okay, I don't remember any hook up and I'm sure as hell I didn't get drunk last night. I look up and see Ryder sleeping face with his mouth slight agape and he snore lightly. He look really peaceful and cute.

Snap out of it Adriana.

I shook my head and try to get out of his grip. Key word there, try. His hold only got tighter and I sigh in defeated and rest my head back on his chest.

Few minutes later I feel him playing with my hair, "I'm hungry." he said softly causing me to chuckle. "I'm not stopping you from going to the kitchen." I stated.

"Adrianaaaaaa." he whined. 

"Okay Okay. I'm up." I said as I got up only get to pull back and I land on top of Ryder. He grinned at me and quickly peck my lips before pushing me off of him.

I glare at him and got up cursing Ryder all the way to the kitchen. I take out a pan and the ingredients for the pancakes and start cooking.

A few moments later, Ryder walked in wearing nothing but his jeans that thing dangerously low on his hips. But I force my eyes to stare at his face. His hair is damp from the shower. He smirk at me, "Take a picture it'll last longer."

I rolled my eyes and grinned, "I might just do that."

I turn back around and put the pancakes on the plates and serve it to Ryder who is beaming at the food. Just as I put the plate in front of him, he quickly eat it and not even 5 minutes he's already done with his food. My jaw hit the floor at seeing him eating. He look at me sheepishly, "I'm hungry."

"Really? I wouldn't have guess it." I said with a hint of sarcasm. I took the plate away and wash the dishes.

"You know for a bad girl, you do know how to cook and do the chores."

I rolled my eyes at that and just continue to wash my dishes. Ryder is standing beside me, leaning against the sink and staring at me. It's making me uncomfortable. After awhile of trying to ignore him I give up. I drop the sponge and plate and look at him, "Is there anything that you need?" I asked and quirk my eyebrow and hands on my hip.

He grinned and shook his head, "You're just so beautiful." he said and quickly kiss my forehead and walk away, leaving me dazed.

I need to get myself together.

For the past hours, we've been hanging out in the game room playing games, duh. Right now we're playing the pool game and Ryder always beat me to it, it's really frustrating. "At what age do you have your very first tattoo?" Ryder asked me randomly. I hit the ball before looking up at him, "I think I'm 15 or 16. My friend's uncle own the shop so, I'm an exception." I said.

He chuckle. "Do they have the meaning or is it just an art?"

I look at him and crossed my arms, "You ask a lot of question. Just shut up."

"I'm just curious." he shrug.

I nod and went to sit on the couch, "Every tattoo has their own stories. Mine just happened to look like a work art." I said nonchalantly. He sit beside me and turn to me, "So, why do you have the puzzle piece tattoo?"

I instantly touch the tattoo and smile, "Its a matching tattoo of me and my twin." he look at me wide eyes, "You have a twin And I didn't know?" he said, "I feel so unimportant."

I rolled my eyes and snort, "You're definitely not important anyway."

He smirk and push me down on the couch and hover over me. I look up at him and see him looking down at me happily. "You're lying babe." he said and slowly lower his face, "I know for a fact You had a thing for me even when you're denying it." he whispers and lightly brushed his lips to mine.

"I don't have a thing for you." I said weakly. Damn it I hate when I let my guards down.

He smile at me before he pressed his lips to mine. I try to push him off me but the feels of his lips on mine just feel amazing and I feel myself wrapping my hand around his neck and my fingers tangle in his hair.

One of his hands cupped my cheeks while the other rest on my hip. He lightly nibble on my bottom lip, I smile and pull away needing air. But he didn't stop there, he trace kisses along my jaw and down my neck and my shoulder and up to my lips again. I tried not to kiss him back but the way he would nibble my bottom lip making me want more, so I give up and kiss him back making him smile. And you can just say we ended up making out on the couch for the next few minutes.

"I am in need of a water!" Georgie exhaled as we ran around the field for PE. I laugh and jog after her leaving her behind. After last night make out session and eating dinner and watching movie, I went home. I don't really know what's going on between Ryder and I cause he would kiss me every chance he get, making me all tingly and lightheaded.

"You know you space out while running can make you fall?" I heard Carter said as he keep up with my pace.

I grinned, "Do you care if I fall and got hurt?"

He smile at me, "As long as you don't fall for anyone that is." he wink and jog ahead of me. "That's what I'm afraid for." I mumbled and keep up my pace.

After PE is lunch so I happily walk out the girls locker room and went to the bench outside the cafeteria where we would hang out at. I took one of my cigarette out and light it up. God, Its been so long since the last time I had this.

"You're cheating during the test." Vivien grumbled as she plop across from me with Layla and Georgie. Jack, Chris and Carter are making their way towards us.

"I'm not!" Layla exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes and take another drag from my cigarette. "I thought you've stop." Gerogie said as she eyed me.

I smirk, "Not gonna happen anytime soon."

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I take it out, reading my notification. Its a text from Ariana. 'Mum is getting bad. Please come. I don't think I can't handle it alone. I'll call dad. -A'

I shuffle to my feet and speed walk to my bike. But before I could even make the exit, someone grabbed my arm. "What's the rush?" I turn and see its Carter and the rest trying to catch up with me. I pull back my arm and glare at him, "I need to go back Chicago." I said simply before swung my leg to my bike and speed off.

Sorry short chapter. I'm tired actually and didn't get enough sleep. School is starting soon and I'm already under a lot of pressure ugh
