The Waiting Game (Overload/Ryan Robertson)

I'm aware I've missed a few days, sorry🙈

The day had came; it was time for Alton towers.

My alarms woke me up at 4am to the sound of The Vamps - Dangerous.

I stepped out of bed and began to wake the other girls as we all stayed at Sophie's again last night.

'Girls, wake up, the boys will be here to pick us up soon' I said hesitantly as I was scared they'd shout at me for waking me up. Let's just say they aren't
The friendliest people when they first wake up.

They finally got up and within half an hour we were all ready and waiting for the boys to turn up.

The boys pulled up at 4:45 and we all piled into the hired bus.

Me, Ryan, Sophie, Jordi and Harvey were sat at the very back of the bus. Charlotte was with Joey and Emily and Ollie were sat behind them. Emily and Andy were sat opposite with Charlie and Leondre sat behind them. Blair was day at the front talking to the driver.

The combination of us 5 at the back was not the best idea we've ever had. We laughed and talked extremely loudly continuously. We were all too hyper to even consider sleeping.

We also consumed far to much food resulting in me feeling very sick. A lot of food and continuous laughing is not a good combination.

After the 3 hour journey we finally arrived at the theme park. We all jumped out of the bus and ran for the entrance.

We decided to stay in the hotel over night as it was easier and meant more time on the rides.

After we all checked into the hotel rooms we decided to meet at 9:30am at reception to enter the theme park.

We had 3 rooms as there was 14 of us all together including Blair.

We decided on me, Sophie, Charlotte, Lucy and Emily sharing one room, Ryan, Jordi, Andy, Joey and Ollie sharing the second room and Harvey, Charlie, Leondre and Blair sharing the third.

9:30am soon approached and we were now all waiting to enter the theme park.

The gates opened and we all ran for the rides.

'Right, so, what rides first?' Ollie asked. 'I think Oblivion to get it out of the way first' Ryan replied. We all agreed and headed for oblivion.

Taking up 2 rows we finally got onto the ride. I was sat next to Ryan as we were both quite scared.

'It'll be alright, if you get too scared you may hold my hand' Ryan reasured me sending a cheeky wink. I laughed as he was probably more scared than me.

The ride started and if I'm honest I was so scared. Thoughts were running through my mind and it's safe to say I was shaking. Ryan must have seen as he grabbed my hand and we finally reached the top.

The ride paused at the top then dropped causing me and Ryan to scream like absolute twats.

We exited the ride and laughed about Ryan's scream constantly mocking him.

We continued going on rides and Ryan became my ride buddy as we were both equally as scared.

So far we had been in air, nemesis, the smiler, ripsaw and the majority of the others.

We were now queuing for the final ride of the day which was thirteen.

We finally got on the ride and I was sat next to Ryan again.

The ride set off and it was so good.

It then took the stop in the black tunnel to my surprise it dropped and I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life. I was not expecting that.

The ride finally came to a stop and we got off. I was still shaking due to the drop which seemed to be amusing everyone.

We laughed our way back to the hotel and decided we'd go back to our own rooms for an early night as we were up early this morning and haven't been to sleep since.

Today has been such a good day and I've enjoyed it so much.
