Someome Worth Waiting For

I woke up to someone softly knocking on the door.

I got up quietly trying not to wake Ryan.

I opened the door and to my surprise Emily was stood crying.

'Emily, what's wrong?' I asked.

She didn't reply she just hugged me and cried into my shoulder.

'Let me put some clothes on and we'll go on a walk and talk ok?'

'Alright' she replied.

I got dressed not making an effort and left a note for Ryan explaining everything.

'Come on, let's go' I said closing the door quietly.

'So what's up?' I asked.

'Ollie' she replied bluntly.

'Whats happened? What has he done?'

'He told me he wants to be distant and he isn't ready for a relationship yet and it just made me feel shit because I really like him and he doesn't even like me back' she said with tears freely falling down her face.

I hugged her tightly.

'Emily you're a beautiful young girl and if he can't see that, well he doesn't know what he's missing does he. It's his loss'

'I look like a twat now though. He knows I like him and he does this. I hate myself for liking him but I can't stop'

'Listen, it's his fault because soon enough he'll realise what he's lost and you'll not have those feelings anymore. You don't need him' I reassured her.

We stood and hugged for a while before realising we didn't know where we were.

'Do you know the way back?' Emily asked.

'No but the town centres over there, we'll walk over and get a taxi'

'Alright'

We walked to the nearest taxi and got in heading back to the hotel.

We were now stood outside the hotel and Emily was beginning to panic.

'Calm Down. Just walk in and ignore him, show him it doesn't bother you' I said and she nodded.

We both went into our own separate rooms.

I walked in to be greeted by Ryan.

'Hey, is she ok?' He asked.

'Shes alright, just don't say anything to the others, she doesn't want people to know' I said.

He smiled and nodded.

🌸Emily's P.O.V🌸

I walked in with my headphones in not even acknowledging Ollie.

I could hear murmurs but I couldn't work out what he was saying as my headphones were on full volume.

Suddenly my headphones were taken out of my ears softly by Ollie.

'What?' I bluntly asked.

'Im sorry, I shouldn't have been so insensitive and I know I've messed everything up and I hate myself for it'

'So why say it Ollie? You obviously don't give a shit about my feelings'

'Don't say that. Of course I do, I done it for you. I'm shit at relationships, I always end up hurting people and I couldn't live with myself if I hurt you' he pleaded.

'What if I said I was willing to take a risk? Would you even care? If you don't like me just say, I'm a big girl, I can take it Ollie'

'I do like you Emily'

'Bullshit, tell me the truth'

'You want the truth? Have the fucking truth. I'm scared, I'm scared because my last relationship ended horribly. I ended up in a hospital bed fighting for my life. I can't risk going back there, I just can't Emily, I'm sorry'

'Ollie, what do you mean? I'm so sorry, I never wanted to hurt you'

At this point we were both crying.

'You haven't hurt me, I've hurt you. Just please, give me a chance to rebuild my life. I really like you and one day I would like you to be my girlfriend but I'm just not ready Emily'

'I understand, I guess it's worth waiting for'

With that he pulled me into a hug and we both lay down on the bed.

Within minutes we were both asleep.

I hope Emily's alright but I don't want to go in incase they're arguing or something. I'll just ask in the morning.

Me and Ryan were cuddled up in bed watching films and talking about everything.

'Ryan?'

'Georgia?'

'Will you promise me one thing?'

'Yes?'

'Please don't ever leave me, I think I'm in love with you'

'Aw you cutie'

'Shut up you freak, you're making me blush' I laughed.

'I love you'

'I love you too'

We lay back down hugging and kissing and everything was so cute.

I rested my head on Ryan's bare chest and slowly fell into a deep sleep.
