The Gig

The lights went down and the room erupted in screams. I looked to my left to see Sophie stood in tears shaking. I was also stood shaking and the tears began to fall. All happy tears. It was such a proud moment.

The boys finally came on stage and gave us a cheeky wave. Although we had been with them all day it still felt so amazing when they waved at us.

They sang their way through the night before they came to their last song.

'This ones for all you beautiful girls out there, it's she looks so perfect' Ryan announced before the familiar tune began to play.

As they reached the chorus I felt someone grab my wrist softly. I flinched as it hurt and then realised it was Ryan. Wait, what? I then realised none of the boys were on the stage. They had all gone to pick out a girl from the audience.

'What are you doing?' I asked still confused before being dragged on stage. 'She looks so perfect standing there' They all sang pointing to us. At that moment I seen Sophie was stood with Jordi and reality kicked In.

Not only was I on stage with my idols but they were singing to me.

The song finished and we were given back stage passes to meet the boys, again, back stage.

They said their goodbyes to the roaring fans and began to exit the stage with us 5 girls tracing behind.

'Sophie, oh my god, I can't believe it, is this actually happening?' I screamed. 'I know oh my yes ah' she screamed making no sense.

We talked to each other as I was socially awkward and found it difficult to talk to others.

'Hey I'm Charlotte, I don't know any of the others, is it alright to stay with you two?' This girl asked. I smiled and nodded. 'My names Sophie and this is Georgia' Sophie replied barely able to speak due to the shock she was in.

'So who chose you?' Sophie asked breaking the silence. 'Joey, I couldn't believe it, he's my absolute fave' she squealed. 'What about yous?' She continued. 'Ryan' I replied with a smile ear to ear. 'Jordi, ahh' Sophie screamed.

We carried on talking for what felt like ages when the two other girls came over.

'Hey, I'm Emily and this is Lucy' she said. 'Hey, my names Georgia, this is Sophie and this is Charlotte' I said whilst pointing to them.

We all began to talk and realised we all had our individual favourites and they were all different. Mine was Ryan, Sophie's was Jordi, Charlottes was Joey, Emily's was Ollie and Lucy's was Andy.

About half an hour later the boys came running in the room hugging us all. We were all shaking and looked a mess but I didn't care because they were my idols and everything was surreal.

'So, we brung you backstage to tell you you're all invited on a day trip to Alton Towers next Saturday with us, we will pick you up and drop you all off wherever and Leondre, Charlie and Harvey will also be there' Ryan said all in one as he was now gasping for breath.

'Oh and It's on Blair so you don't need to bring anything' Joey added. We all smiled and began to shake uncontrollably.

'I can't actually believe this is happening' I said breaking the silence only then did I realise I was actually crying. I know exactly how to make a fool out of myself.

'Aw sweetie, don't cry, come here' Ryan said whilst taking me into a big hug. I think he knew I was shaking as he whispered 'calm down, you're shaking'. I laughed as he let go. I always make such a twat out of myself.

We all began to start our own conversations and got to know each other.

It soon approached 11pm and we all had to leave as the last metro was 11:25.

'Stay, we'll drive you all home' Ollie said whilst grabbing Emily's hand.

'Calm yourself Ollie, I think you've taken a shine to Emily there' Ryan added cheekily. We all laughed at him and decided we'd accept the lift home.

'You can all stay at mine if you want?' Sophie said. Sophie's house is massive and her parents are so laid back so they wouldn't mind. 'Yeah sure' we all agreed. 'I have a baby sister though so don't blame me if she wakes you up' Sophie added. We all laughed and agreed to this idea.

We finally decided to leave the venue and go back to Sophie's house.
