Today was the day I seen my idols live for their first ever headline show. The anticipation was killing me. Me, Georgia, and my friend, Sophie. We both loved Overload and were both far to excited.
It was a horrible day in Newcastle, but then again, when isn't it?
We had woken up early so we could get to the academy, where the show was being held, early so we actually had a chance of being front row even though we had V.I.P tickets.
My alarm went off several times before I finally got up.
'Sophie get up' I almost whispered as I had just woken up. No reply. 'Sophie wake up now, you're going to meet your boyfriend' I said slightly louder. She flinched but still nothing. 'Sophie wake up now' I shouted In her ear. She immediately jumped, I couldn't help but laugh.
We got ready and were out the door by 6am ready for the 6:05am metro.
We were now sat on the metro singing so many different songs resulting in us getting dirty looks but we were to excited to care.
'The next station is Monument' was announced and Sophie and I jumped from our seats and ran for the doors. We couldn't contain our excitement.
Walking through the streets of Newcastle was never ideal at this time on the morning but we just didn't care. We were meeting overload.
We headed for the side doors as we didn't need to queue as we were V.I.P.
And the waiting game begins...
