"Did you hear? Victoria is coming back tomorrow along with her friends" Hazel says and rolls her eyes.

By hazels reaction, I can obviously see that she doesn't really like this girl named Victoria.

Everyone stays silent and Matthew shifts uncomfortably in his seat. I look at Mya and I furrow my eyebrows and Mya looks back at me. Mya cocks her head slightly to Hazels direction as if she's telling me to just ask her.

"Who?" I ask.

"Oh. Well, Victoria is the kind of person I would recommend to stay away from. She the kind of person who thinks she is the queen bee. You know the basic bitch of the school" Gracie said.

Basic bitch? I mentally ask myself while leaning back into my seat. I crossed my arms over my chest and furrowed my eyebrows. Who would've thought the stereotype was real in this school. Why would they think I shouldn't be around her? Is she just really rude?

"When you meet her, she may seem so innocent and sweet. But she just uses that to get close to you to ruin your life." Lauren adds.

Ruins your life? I feel that's a bit exaggerated.

I just shrug and pick my fork back up listening to their conversation of Victoria.

The table was all chorusing in about Victoria like it was Satan himself coming to school. It was all very obvious that the people on this table weren't very fond of her. She must've done something terribly bad for these people to hate her this much.

I looked around the table and the only person who I see that is t talking is Matthew. He was staring down at his lunch platter and absentmindedly twirling the spaghetti on his plate with his fork. His hazel eyes seemed a little distant compared to a couple minutes ago

He had a slight defined jaw line, and a few freckles on his face that were barely visable. His hair was a very light brown color, very close to a blonde tone. I'm being completely honest, he's a very handsome guy.

It seems that he snapped out of his trance and his eyes flickered up to mine. Matthew rolls his eyes and begins to talk. "Its not nice to stare." It was a very monotone voice and so empty that it almost seemed intimidating.

Well your attitude doesn't seem nice either. I think to myself.

I mentally roll my eyes and I swirl my fork in my pile of spaghetti. I lifted my fork up with some spaghetti noddles wrapped around and I take a bite.

Everyone around the table notices the tension after a few seconds and Sarah was the one who decided to speak up. "Why was Victoria and her little followers not here at school?" Sarah asks Hazel.

"She went to a party." Hazel rolls her eyes.

Wow, she tends to roll her eyes a lot.

"But it's just a plain party. what's the big deal?" Matthew asks

"No, not a plain party. It was a college party." Gracie said.

"Well big whoop. I go to college parties all the time." Matthew says.

"The party was In L.A. , Matt." Gracie said.

Isaac says something to everyone on the table that I completely missed, and they all started to laugh. I glance at all of them while taking a forkful of my spaghetti and shoving it in my mouth

I look up and see Matthew staring at me, but this time his eyes don't show fire. His eyes seemed a lot lighter color, and made him look more approachable than the snappy teenager he was a few moments ago. They didn't seem dark this time and it made me furrow my eyebrows.

"Are you staring?" I ask, it seems like he was being hypocritical.

"Who said I was staring at you? Does it look like I want to?" He snaps and his eyes start to grow dark once again

Jesus Christ what is wrong with your bipolarity, I'm sorry for existing?!?!

"Whatever." I say and grab my half eaten plate of spaghetti. I also collect my bag and throw it over my shoulder.

I hate this place. There's too many hormonal teenagers with a pissy attitude I want out.

"Matt you should cool it down." I heard Cody say faintly as I walked away from the table.

I reached for my phone from the back pocket of my uniform and I unlock the screen.

It was only 17 minutes into the 1 hour lunch period and I had absolutely nothing to do before my next class which was English. I was completely bored and hopeless.

I looked to the right of me and I saw a room with a placard saying 'music room'. It looked like no one was in there since the lights were off.

I cup my eyes and I look in the room through the dusty window. Everything looked old, dusty, and dark. The windows were covered with black curtains, all the instruments were aligned against the wall of the room. The teachers desk was pushed up to the corner and all the chairs were stacked up together.

Curiosity got the best of me and I twisted the knob on the door. I pulled on the door but however it was locked. It's not like I was expecting much.

Now that I think of it, is there even a music class of some sort? It didn't show anything related to music on the school pamphlet. It's weird, maybe there isn't a music program. That's rare.

I press the unlock button on my phone and enter the pin again. I had nothing but games on my phone. I barely had any contact information. Only for my parents, my brother and a few people from North Carolina that were in my old classes since we had projects together.

There wasn't anything that really piqued my interest at this school except that music room where I looked through the window.
