I walked up to Lily's house and rang to doorbell.
After a few moments it opened.
" Bella my dear how lovely to see you!" Mrs Russell exclaimed hugging me tightly.
" And you to Mrs Russell!" I exclaimed smiling.
" is Lily doing alright? She didn't show up for work today" I asked gently.
" What do you mean?" Mrs Russell said frowning.
" I thought she was with you." She said pressing her lips together.
" No I haven't seen her since the dance" I said worriedly.
" Come in dear" she said walking to the back of the house
I walked in closing the door behind me.
" one second.." Mrs Russell said.
I waited in the kitchen anxiously, how could she not come home? I thought. i paced the kitchen back and forth, She better come home soon or I'm going to freak out.
When Mrs Russell finally came down, She was accompanied by Mr Russell. I had only ever imagined him. He was about mid height with broad shoulders, Blonde hair and blue eyes. He smiled but his eyes looked weary and distraught. ''I'm going to call the cops" Mrs Russell said hurriedly. " No wait! " i said everything turned silent. " Well why not My Dear?" Mr Russell asked after a few moments. " Well first i strongly believe she could possibly be at Lightbox or Jesse's and even if she was home last night she could have left early." i said trying to be persuasive. " well Honey she has a point" Mr Russell said looking at Mrs Russell.
After a few moments Mrs Russell finally agreed to not call the cops until we had our facts straight. " we have 4 hours so until 8 tonight. if we don't find her I'm calling the cops!" She said. " Of Course thats very reasonable And don't worry we will find her." I said hugging her tightly.
"Bye dear I will see you around eight! Call me if you hear or see anything!" Mrs Russell said softly. she hugged me tightly before i started walking out to my car. We agreed to meet back at her house around eight and if we don't find Lily we are going to call the police.
My engine roared to life as I hit the ignition. I know exactly where I'm going right now.
To see the last person that saw Lily.
