34. The Photo.

" Listen I'm not going to be the bearer of bad news But Bella going on a trip after your parent repeatedly said no is probably not the best decision." I said trying not to be harsh.
I know she sacrificed a lot for this trip but maybe it was too much.
" Jesse, We are literally standing inside the airport and you tell me this now?" Bella said sarcastically.
I scratched my head trying not to give in to her sarcasm.
" Relax, I know what I'm doing is probably not the best. But don't kid yourself, Your dad has absolutely no idea where you are." She said impatiently. Even though she was very straightforward she was right.
My dad had no idea where I was.
Not that he would care, But I was just as bad as she was.
" Kids over here!" Millicent called gesturing for us to come over to the bag check in. Thank goodness Bella and I had brought carry on bags because we were already 45 minutes late. Then I saw it. She had 5 bags. 5 BAGS. As in 5 suitcases! "Mrs Russell I don't think we have enough ti-" I started before being cut off. " Nonsense child. We have time and plus you can never have enough shoes! Right Bella?" She said looking towards me.
" Uh..Yeah, sure." Bella replied quickly.

By now you can probably see the arrangement we made. Bella, Mrs Russell and I. I did not want to go but seeing how Mrs Russell volunteered herself and how Bella has to go I honestly felt bad for her. So I volunteered. It was either Maddox or I stay behind with Mr Russell and I can't stand him. No offense.

" Guys I hope this forensic team has something. They need to bring my Baby girl home." Mrs Russell said sadly.
Bella Hugged her tight. I tried to reassure her. " It's going to be fine Mrs Russell we already are getting ahead on leads, I'm sure she is safe." Bella was way more convincing then I was.

Millicent is going to drive me Bananas! Literally! 5 bags we are staying overnight. That's it. I'm guessing you want to know what happened with my dad and how I managed to get out of the house. Well I may or may not have told him that I was having a sleepover this weekend at a friends house and I would be back Monday morning.
I mean technically it's a sleepover.
In New York. "-Shoes! Right Bella?" My mind snapped out of my thoughts instantly. I looked quickly at Millicent's face realizing her question. " Uh, Yeah..Sure" I responded. Hopefully she doesn't find out the only shoes i brought were the white converse I was currently wearing and a black pair of converse.

" Hey Jesse pass me the boarding pass please." I asked and Jesse handed mine to me and Millicent's to her.
I stared at it closely. Boarding group 2 seat 8F window. Well at least I get a window. I squinted closer at the ticket to find the top said Albany. I cursed under my breath. I was an idiot what did I think? That the ticket would just say New York? But out of all the Cities we were flying to Albany. Great.

I tightened my ponytail and continued walking. We still had 20 gates before ours and boarding Started in 5 minutes.
Jesse and I picked up speed but we slowly went back to walking when we realized Mrs Russell couldn't run because she was wearing flipping 5 inch heels!

We rounded the corner just in time as boarding group 1 finished.
We handed over our boarding passes and continued to walk towards the plane. We found our seats and sat down Jesse next to me in the middle and Mrs Russell in the row in front of us.

Just as I sat down a text message dinged at my phone. I buckled the seat belt and checked it. It was from Quincie.
Quincie: I need your help I want to help find Lily I think she is wherever my brother is. This was left on my doorstep this morning.

I clicked on the photo and nearly dropped my phone. " Jesse! We have to get off!" I cried showing him the photo.
" We can't now." He said trying to be calm. I could tell me was just as worried as me. " There's only one person who can deal with this." I looked at him exactly as he said it and I knew we were thinking the same thing. Maddox.
