We decided to search the woods tomorrow.
We don't have any time today.
So we drove over to the Russell's house with basically 10 Minutes to spare. I drove my own car and Jesse and Maddox rode in Jesse's.
I knocked on the door and waited, With Jesse And Maddox behind Me.
Finally Mr Russell opened the door.
"Hi Mr Russell" I said sadly. " Come in." Mr Russell said gravely holding the door open. "Oh my dear Bella" Mrs Russell said rushing to me. " I'm so sorry i didn't find anything." I said hanging my head. " Honey don't worry she will show up." Mrs Russell said to Me faking her best smile. Mrs Russell guided us to the living room, " And who is this young Man?" Mrs Russell asked pointing toward Maddox. " Oh this is Maddox he's one of our good friends, You remember him from the dance right?" Jesse said making introductions. " Oh of course!" Mrs Russell said reaching over to shake Maddox's hand. I had a solid hunch Mrs Russell didn't remember Maddox at all. " So where do your parents live?" Mr Russell asked politely doing his best to make conversation,
There was a moment of uncomfortable silence " Oh sorry my parents are back in Canada." Maddox replied smiling.
Something about that doesn't sit right with me. But then again it's not my place to ask.
After a few moments Mrs Russell called the police.
I honestly hope they don't question Jesse because I don't think he knows anything to be honest. But I don't know him very well, Maybe he does?
But why would He lie to Me?
