chapter 5

Jakes POV :  welp,  I just got done with my meetings .  It's now 5 .  I called Ruby,  my personal maid and chief and told her I was buying out for everyone tonight.  I was thinking Chinese food.  Mean who wouldn't want that.  Plus Kevin and eve ,  plus there 2 kids are coming over.  I just need to know what everyone wants.  I'm calling chris.

After I got done off the call.  I found out that Erika likes the same food I like.  Is it just me or is it kind of cute?  .  Stop it jake she doesn't like you.  She's never gonna like you. 

I got the food and headed back to the house.  Ruby had taken the food from me and brought them into the kitchen.  I thanked her and gave her and Chris the rest of the day off.  They refused.  I actually love them as family.  They been here with me through everything.  I'm glad I have them.  I went upstairs to Jaxs room and see Erika and Jax watching a Disney movie on the love sacks.  They're really something.  " Hey there " I say as I take Jax from right next to her.  Jax just giggles at me.  He is so cute.  " So how was he?  " I say while tickleing Jax " He was good.  He's so cute " She says as she kisses Jaxs forehead. 

We had dinner and Erika just went to get Jax a shower and out him to bed.  At dinner though I think she noticed on how much I couldn't get my eyes off her.  I know she probably feels creeped out,  but I'm a guy i couldn't help it. 

Erika's POV :  at dinner,  I look over at jake and noticed he was starring at me.  Maybe he likes me?  .  What are you even talking about Erika.  He would never like You.  Right now I just finished showering  Jax  and went over to Jakes room.  I forgot to knock and he was just coming out the bathroom in just a towel.  With his abs on display.  Boy oh boy I already knew I was drooling " Im so sorry jake I didnt mean to " I say quickly as I shut the door.  " Hey Erika it's okay nothings out you can come inside "  He chuckled.  I felt so embarrassed.  " Uhh here's Jax,  I thought you might want to see him before he go's to bed " I say trying not to look him in the eye.  " Hey hey " He says grabbing my chin " What's wrong " He says " I feel so embarrassed " I say and put my hand on my head.  He chuckles " It's okay " He says.  We both go and walk to jaxs room and put him to sleep.  It never occurred to me why Jax had a crib then a massive sized bed on the other side of the room.  I just sat on it.  " You look exhausted " Jake says.  " I actually don't feel like I am " I say " What's on your mind " He says and sits next to me " To be honest,  nothing.  " I say.  I honestly don't know what's on my mind.  There's nothing there .  Other than Jax.  " Hmm,  you should get some rest ,  maybe it'll help " He says.  I'm not tired at all though.  " I'm not tired " I say and fall on the bed .  "  Okay  ,  if your gonna stay up  ,  so am I " Jake says.  " No need I'll binge watch shows " I say while looking at him  " Well I guess I am to  ,  with you  " He says " Okayyy fine "  " C'mon were going in my room " He says while grabbing my hand.  " Mines more comfortable "  He says.  I just go on with it.  I follow him " Make yourself at home " He says while laughing.  " What's so funny " I say .  " I don't know " He says while laughing even harder.  " I'll be back he says and leaves.  I go over to his couch which is right In front of his big flat screen TV and scrooled threw Netflix.  Jake came back with some chips,  popcorn and sweets.  He had like loads of chocolate so I straight took it before he even put the stuff down.  " Hey that one was mine " He says.  I just laugh " I need it more than you right now " I say.  You know it's that time of the month " Ohh,  I better send Chris out to get more chocolates then,  we wouldn't want a grumpy Erika now would we " He says " Ha ha ha very funny " I say and playfully roll my eyes.  I gave jake the TV remote so he could pick.  I was stressing out looking through all the movies so I decided to let him pick.  Typical guys,  he picked a scary movie " Really " I say.  And start to sink myself into the blanket jake gave me.  " Don't worry I'm here to protect you " Says jake who sat next to me,  but yet so far away,  it was like a cushion away.  Throughout the movie I was fine.  Jake constantly laughed at me because I did get scared.  Until the big jumpscare.  " Aahhhaahah " I jumped right into Jakes  chest and hugged him super tight.  I was basically faces him siting know his lap hugging him as a child would do.  He shut the movie off " You can come out now I shut it off " He says I still never talked i felt yet comfortable  .  Jake stood up and walked over the the bed.  With my legs wrapped around his torso tightly.  My arms around his neck and my head over his shoulder.  I was kind of cold.  He had his ac on full blast.  I started shivering.  He pulled out the covers and put me down on my back.  I still never let go.  I could feel jake lightly trying the get out of my embrace,  but i was yet still to scared " No don't leave me " I said to him " I guess I'm just gonna haVe to sleep like this then " He says smiling at the fact that I was still hugging him super tight.  I tried to relax myself.  Jake put the covers over us.  With his hands around me and my arms still wrapped around his neck with my legs around his hips.  He was laying on me.  He seemed comfortable ,  he kissed me on my forehead and fell asleep.  I layed there releasing my legs from his torso,  that are now tangled up in his.  Thinking about what me  and jake are .  We for sure aren't together  ,  but some things there i could feel it.  I sat there thinking a little while longer and started falling sleep.  Jake is now laying on his back,  no arms are on each other.  I feel him pull me closer to him.  I instantly came from cold to now warm.  I finally feel safe with someone  ,  oh jake what did you do to me in such the little time?  ♥
