A couple days later ;

Jakes pov ; I've been thinking. So ,  me,  and Erika plus what I like to call our little family...  Have been hanging out a lot { in these past days that went by  } and I really do want us to work out.  We talked about wanting to be together again , when we were alone.  But I still hadn't broke it off with Veronica ,  so I didn't make it official at the time.  But ,  I finally broke it off with her this morning...  And I really really wanna be with Erika again .  But I don't wanna make us official just yet.  I want us to take things slow ,  so we could savor the moments and then I can surprise her to be my girlfriend when she least expects it.

Right now we are all hanging out me ,  kayzley ,  Jax and Erika.  Kayzley is laying on my chest ,  as we watch a movie on Erika's bed.  With Jax in between me and Erika.

It wasn't that long into the movie they all fell asleep.  I suddenly felt the urge to cuddle Erika ,  don't even ask why.  I just do. ( 😂) .  I get up and put kayzley in her room,  on her bed ,  then I put the blanket over her and kissed her forehead.  then I went back ,  and I picked up jax and laid him on the big bean bag in kayzleys room.  I put a blanket over him,  and also kissed his forehead.  I closed there door and went back into Erikas room.  I went under the covers close to her and warped my arms around her.  She turns and puts her head on my chest.  We both fall asleep.

Erikas pov ; so earlier ,  jake told me that he and his girlfriend are no longer together ,  and he's okay with that.  He didnt tell me anything about like who broke up with who or the reason to it ,  but I was happy that he was single....  Yunno so maybe we could get back together.

Jakes pov ;

I wake up about 30 mins later ,  to Erika stroking my hair.  She was just looking to me ,  so I look up at her with a smile.  " Heyy sexy " I tell her.  She giggles.  " Hey handsome " Is what she replies with. 

I smile widely.  She stares down at me smiling and I pull her in for a kiss.  I'm not gonna lie ,  this is not the first kiss we shared recently ,  maybe there was even a little make out the other night   ,  if you know what I mean...

She cupped my cheeks and I pulled her closer to me.  I sat up so she was now straddling my lap. 

We sat there just making out until we heard kayzley cry.  " Gosh damnit " I say as I pull away.  Erika just laughs.  " I'll be right back " She says as she gets off of me.  Damnn ,  she is perfect

Erika came back minutes later with kayzley ,  whos arms was holding her stuffed animal.  She runs up to me and hugs me ,  she cries again.  " Why are you crying kayz " I ask her...  " Becuz daddy I had a bad dream " She says.  " Are you still tired?  " I ask.  " Yes but I no sleep by myself " She says as she looks up at me ,  tears falling down her cute little chubby cheeks.  I wipe them away with my thumb.  " Hey ,  don't cry princess ,  daddy will protect you okay " I tell her as I pick her up and put her next to me.  " You prowomise " She says.  " Yes ,  of course love " I tell her.  I look over to Erika ,  who's smiling at us in amazement.  I moved kayzley over ,  so I was now in the middle of the bed.  Then i signalled Erika to come on the other side.  I had one of my arms wrapped around my beautiful daughter ,  and the other wrapped around Erika ,  who's head was on my bare chest.

Hours later  ;

Jakes pov ; everyone had been up for about 2 hours or so.  It's 5: 30 ,  and I'm starving.  Erika and kayzley are inside Erikas room.  While me and Jax are laying on the couch ,  watching a football game.  I look over at him " Are you hungry " I ask.  He nods.  I get up and walk to Erikas room
" Hey cuties " I say as I walk in.  Kayzley giggles and she runs up to me , I pick her up ,  " So ,  me and Jax are hungry.  Are you guys hungry or?  " I ask.  " I could eat " Erika says.  " What about you princess " I say as I look down at kayzley and gently move a piece of her hair out of her face.  " I'm super super hungry daddy " She says.  I laugh. " Okay then ...  " I say.  I put kayzley down so she and Erika get ready.  Me and Jax also change into the spare of clothes that we bought.  Once everyone was ready ,  we left. 

We arrived at { insert place here }.

Once we got settled into a booth.  The waiter took our orders.  We talked as a family until the food came. 

I looked towards the door and...
