Jakes pov ; once we got there I went over to Erika's door and opened it for her. I hadn't seen my mom yet. Or whom suppose to be my mom. I interlocked me and Erika's fingers and stared to walk in . Their was so much people. Then I seen my aunty the host of the party . " jakey you came " she says as she hugs me tightly . " hey aunty Shannon , this is my girlfriend Erika " I say as I pull away from the hug . " what a beautiful girl " she says as she gives Erika a hug. I laugh. Erika gives her a hug and a warming smile. I introduced Erika to practically everyone. Whom I knew. I'm not gonna lie. If this is a family party , I don't even know them . I found me and Erika a spot by ourselves . So I took out a chair for her then pushed it in when we sat. Then I sat on the chair across . " to be honest , I don't know anyone else here " I say as i look around . Erika laughed . " I think they know you though . Seems as everyone's starring right now " she says as she covers her face I move her hand a have her a kiss on the cheek.

We stayed their for a little while longer then we were getting ready to leave. But then of course the devil , the women who's suppose to be my mom shows up. " jakey I didn't know you were coming " she says as she shouts walking over here. " I mean this is my family to " I say as I try to walk alway. " come back here mr . Tough guy " she says as she grabs my shoulder. " Pam leave the boy alone " my aunty Shannon says as she stands in between me and my so called mom. " Shannon move " pam says. " Pam you've done nothing but hurt this poor boy , leave him be " aunty Shannon says . I grabbed Erika's hand and pulled her out of there. I didn't wanna be there . I opened Erika's door and she got in. But as I was opening mine . The party came out to me. " jake I want my son back " my so called mom shouts . " the son you left with me. The son you told me to take care of " I yell back. " I want my son " . She yells . I laugh and rub my forehead. Then I see Erika from the side of my eye come out of the car . " jake lets go " she says so I could here . I look at her then look back at my so called mom. " yea no your not getting him back " I say as I turn around. " jake I'm sorry " she says. I turn my head to look at her. And the rest of the crowd behind her. I nodd my head no . " it's a little late for that " I say and I get in the car. Then Erika does to and I drive home.

I drove into the garage and sighed. I turned the car off and looked over at Erika. She's looking back at me. She grabs my face and kisses me. I kiss back. We then go inside the house . I went to get Jax and erika went upstairs . Once I got him . I hugged him and started crying. I walked upstairs to my room. And sat on the bed.  With me still crying. Erika was in the bathroom , I guess getting ready for bed. I put Jax in his crib and went into my closet to changed. I took my shirt off and my Tim's. Then I took my pants off. I put on joggers then walked out. I walked back to Jax's crib and he was sleeping so I decided to leave him there . I put the blanket over him and walked over to the bed. I got under the covers. And started to think about what happened . I already knew I was tearing up. I mean after all , she my so called mother is gonna try to take Jax from me. And I don't want to lose him. He was all I had. But now I have Erika. Jax makes us so complete . I'm not gonna give him up. Just then Erika comes out of the bathroom. In one of my shirts , she had already took off all her makeup and her hair was in a messy bun. She lifted up the covers and seen me tearing up. She immediately hugged me. " aww baby " she says. I just hug her so tight . " she's gonna try and take him from me , form us " I say . " she won't get him , I know she won't jake. I know you won't give up on him baby. Don't think so down " she says . I pull away. Then I laid back down. I just wish she didn't come back. I wish everything was back to normal .
