chapter 37

Recap  ; " You won't believe what kind of day I've had  " ( Jakes says ) 

Erika's pov ;

" What kind of day was that " I ask.  " Well long story short ,  manager Kev made me get a new assitant.  And she's this blonde girl named Alisha or something like that ....  But yea  " He says in an irritated voice.  With his hands still on my waist I let out a laugh.  " What " He asks curiously.  " What's so bad about a new assistant babe.  It's not like you have to spend all the time with her  " I say.  " That's the thing ,  she's my new assistant.  I have to spend more time with her ,  she's gonna be in meetings with me and whenever I have to go on business trips ,  most of the time she has to be with me  " He says.  I start to feel ,  I don't know irritated also.  I take his hands off my waist.  " Hmm ,  do you think she's cute ?  " I ask.  " No what the hell ,  the only person I think is cute ,  or hot whatever you wanna call it is you ,  only you  " He says.  I smile knowing I can trust him since he would have to be with another girl all the time.

Later that night.

Jakes pov  ; I was done showering and got dressed ,  after that I went into the room and see Erika passed out on the bed ,  but most importantly ,  my side of the bed. I go on the side that's suppose to be hers ,  and lay down.  She immediately comes close to me and wraps her arms around me ,  I get comfortable and let myself slowly drift off to sleep. 

In the morning  ;

I get up to manager Kev  , yelling and shaking me. " JAKE ,  jake hello wake up  "  He says.  I open my eyes to see manager Kev and my new assistant.  " What the fuck man ,  ever heard of privacy  " I say as I rub my eyes.  I look over to Erika and she's laying on her side facing the other way ,  I put the blanket over her and grab my shirt that was left on the night stand.  I put it on then got up . 

" Jake cmon we gotta go " Says manager Kev ,  quite loudly actually.  Jax starts crying.  I ignore what he's saying and walk to Jaxs room and picked him up.  I brought him back into mine and Erika's room where manger Kev and the blonde girl was and put him down on the bed.  " He has a kid " The girl says. I didn't even bother to answer  " Hello ,  jake what are you doing let's go " Manager kev says again.  " Okay , okay.  Get out and get me get ready  " I say as I look at the time .  I don't even know what we are doing ,  and why he was in my room.  I kick them out and locked the door ,  I walked back to the bed and plopped down.  I looked up to Erika ,  and she's still asleep.  I went into the closet and got changed.  I put on some pants and a hoodie ,  I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth ,  and combed my hair a little.  Jax was looking at me. I walked over to him and he opened his arms for a hug ,  I picked him up and hugged him for a little ,  then I put him back down.  I gently out my hand on his forehead to see if his head was hot ,  it was a little.  So I went downstairs ,  with Jax in my arms.  And went to find Ruby.  I passed manager kev and the girl and went into the kitchen.  " Hey ,  good morning.  Do you know where the thermometer is ?   " I ask.  " In the drawer over there honey " Ruby replies.  " Thanks " I say.  I grab it then begin to walk back to my room.  " Anytime now jake " Manager kev says as I pass him.  " Where do we even have to go ,  I didn't have any plans " I say as I turn to face him.  I put Jax down and he crawls to Kevin.  Kevin picks him up.  " Hey bud " He says.  I walk over to Kevin and gently take Jax out of his arms.  " To the business brunch about the trip next month " He says.  I roll my eyes then walk up stairs.  I get into my room ,  and see Erika awake.  I close and lock my door ,  then I walk over to the bed.  I up the thermometer in Jaxs mouth gently then waited for it to beep. As soon as it did ,  I checked it.  He didn't have a fever.  That's good.  " Morning " I say as I put the thermometer on the nightstand.  " Morning handsome ,  where you going..  And what was all the yelling this morning ,  or was I dreaming?  " She asks.  I laugh.  " That was Kevin and the new assistant waking me up ,  I got a business brunch to go to..  You wanna go  " I ask " Nah ,  I just wanna sleep " She says as she puts the pillow over her head.  " I'm gonna take Jax with me then okay " I say to her as I walk over to her side of the bed.  I take the pillow off to see Erika smiling  ,  I laugh then lean over and passionately kiss her ,  she kisses back then we pull away.  I take Jax into his room and get him dressed ,   into almost the same thing as me ,  but with a shirt instead of a hoodie.  Then made sure I had everything I need for him in my Gucci bag ,  then walked back into my room said bye to Rik and gave her a kiss.  After ,  I walked downstairs. 

" K now I'm ready " I say to manager Kev.  " We're like an hour late let's go " He says in annoyance.  " You guys could've went and let me be late ,  don't you guys have cars " I ask in annoyence.  " We Ubered here Jake " He says.  I shrugg my shoulders then walked to the Tesla.  I got Jax into his car seat then put my bag in the trunk.   Manager Kev Sat in the front and Alisha or whatever her name is sat on the seat next to Jax. 

At the brunch meeting  ;

Everyone was getting settled.  I have Jax in my lap ,  then on the chair to my left was manager Kev ,  and the chair to my right was my new assistant.  " So is this your son  " She asks.  " Your names Alisha right ?  " I ask.  " Alissa ,  my names Alissa " She says.  " Sorry Alissa ,  and yes this is my son " I tell her.  Just the thought of saying Jax was my son warms my heart ,  I mean obviously he's not ,  but legally he is.  ( loll idek ) .  Plus I didn't want a just barge out and say ,  oh no this is my little brother that my parents left me with when he was born...  That's not something you say to a stranger.  I thought to myself

After that ,  she didn't say anything more...  I don't know if she just didn't have anything else to say ,  or if she was jealous or something  , but the look on her face tells me she's jealous or probably annoyed .  I mean after all ,  she seen me with my girlfriend sleeping this morning ,  then I bring out a 8 month old baby ,  but it doesn't make any sense to me ,  it just bothers me to think that maybe she might like me or something ,  I  ,  I just don't want to have to worry about that ,  while worrying about my relationship I have now...  But it's not like I have to worry about mine and Erika relationship ,  I mean it's perfect ,  or at least in my pov it's perfect....
