Tails Workshop

"Take 'em away, Zonic." The blue blur snickered, watching the Moebians glare at him from a distance.

After Jayde was returned, Sonic was able to pin Scourge down long enough to clasp an inhibitor collar around his neck, cutting him from all his power. Shine ended up slamming Torrent against a rock with his continuous snarky comments, leaving him unconscious on the battlefield.

After Raven was vanquished, the enemies didn't know what to do. Their reason to fight was gone once again, and not even Eggman could make them fight - he had been a coward and shot away before anyone could notice he was gone. Jaylee was caught in a crossfire between Silver's psychokinesis and Blaze's flames, while Sonia easily crushed Rosy's hammer, giving Amy enough time to knock her down. Manic had helped Tails stop Miles - that and the anti couldn't be bothered to deal with the fight anymore. Metal Sonic was easily disposed of within the Riots blast.

The green male glared at his Mobian lookalike, razor teeth showing, "I'll get you back for this." He hissed.

"I don't think so," Zonic muttered, shoving the green one towards the transport van, "You lot are going to be locked in No Zone jail for a long time – and I don't plan on you escaping for the third time."

Jaylee yanked at the restraints, trying to break free from them. She growled in anger, leaving Zector to grab her struggling form to stop her, "You got a long flight, missy. I suggest you get comfy in those chains." Jaylee snarled at him, but the ebony male stepped forward, catching her attention.

Shadow grabbed her arm and took her to the side, "In Glyphic Kingdom, you looked back at me like you were guilty."

"So?" she snapped, still struggling, "What does it matter to you?"

"Why did you do it?" he asked, his tone demanded an answer.

Jaylee sighed, glaring at the tree beside her. She didn't look at him while she answered, "I had to prove myself to those who doubted me."

"So, technically you took your anger out on Jayde?" Shadow asked, growling slightly.

She smirked, "Aw, are you going to hiss like a kitten at me? Jees, I thought you were the tough one." She rolled her eyes.

Crimson orbs pierced hers, "I am. And this is why I'm giving you a warning." Shadow glared, his lips peeling back, "If you ever turn Jayde into her negative form again, or hurt her in any way, shape or form, you're going to have me hunting you down. And I won't stop until I get you." Jaylee snarled at the threat as she was dragged back to the zone cops. Sonic waved smugly at his lookalike before he was shoved in the back of the van and the doors were slammed shut.

"Good work, Sonic prime." Zonic nodded to the few in front of Tails' workshop.

Sonic shook his other lookalike's hands, grinning, "Keep an eye on them, Zonic."

Inside the workshop, Tails looked at the grey hedgehog sadly, almost regretting everything he had to do. Because Jayde's inhibitor rings remained red, he had no choice but to analyze her to see what was wrong. She was sleeping peacefully at the moment, but his eyes glanced down to her wrists, looking at the chains that held them together. After a long time analyzing her, he deemed her 'too dangerous', and despite every part of him hating himself, he locked the chains on her wrists. Tails had never looked guiltier in his life.

Cream walked up to her friend before asking the question Tails wished she didn't, "Why does she have to wear those?"

Shadow, Sonic and Amy walked through the door after waving goodbye to the zone cops, the ebony male heading straight over to the grey hedgehog. He knew about the circumstances she was in, and although he hated it – they had to put those on her. Those chains were specifically designed to prevent usage of her powers. Unfortunately, until they took them off, they would also prevent her from healing properly as well.

Tails looked at the young rabbit before glancing at the Ultimate Lifeform, "After analyzing Jayde, I've been able to determine that not all of the negative energy is gone. No, she will never turn into Raven again, but whatever of her is left had fused with her dark form, which explains why her inhibitors are still red. Her body is still absorbing the negative energy."

Cleobella studied the information given to her on the screen before gasping lightly, "There's something else..."

Tails walked over to her, looking at whatever was on the screen. Knuckles frowned, "What's wrong?"

The young inventor shook his head, grabbing the device, "But... how?" he glanced to Jayde before looking back at the screen, "It... can't." he turned to the azure fox, "Can it?"

Shadow gritted his teeth, "What is it?" he asked, his voice in a demanding tone once again. He wasn't getting straight answers from people and it irritated him.

"Well, Jayde's DNA seems to be developing much slower now, but it's not causing her any physical damage or harm." Cleobella spoke, "All of her genes are working normally, but are renewing themselves to cope with the dramatic change of having the negative energy stored in her dark form."

"What does that mean?" Amy asked.

Tails continued to stare at the grey hedgehog, "I don't...  don't know. But her system is changing."

Silver smiled towards the purple feline knowingly. He knew this from the beginning. It's why he didn't want the future to change. If Jayde had stayed in her negative form, nothing in the future would have happened. Shadow frowned, "Wait, what?"

The twin tailed fox turned to the ebony hedgehog, "Because her DNA has changed, it means that her body is changing to cope with the dramatic change. I don't know what will happen, but I think we should keep a close watch on her."

"What happens when she wakes up?" Amy asked, standing on the other side of Jayde next to Cream, "Should we tell her?"

Cleobella studied the sleeping hedgehog, "She probably won't remember anything – like last time. I think it would be best to leave it awhile before we tell her. At least until we know what will become of it."

"She's going to hate me." Tails sighed, staring at the inhibitor chains on her wrists.

"She isn't going to hate you, bud." Sonic told him, resting a hand on his shoulder, "She'll understand."
