Music: Paralyzed - NF

They didn't need to wait long to find out. As if on cue, the grey hedgehog's orbs opened, squinting in the new light. Her whole body seemed disorientated as she stared at the ceiling before her eyes darted around the room,  "G-Guys?" her voice sounded scratchy, and it was sore to speak for her. But it was the voice that caused all the tension in the room to vanish. Where it was once harsh and cruel, her voice now sounded weak and soft.

Gritting her teeth, she went to sit up, but found her hands bound together. She tensed, a fearful look in her eyes, "W-What's happening?" Tails quickly grabbed the keys and unlocked her wrists. Jayde sat up, holding the chains in her hands, "What are these for?"

"Jayde," Mitzy came through the crowd, "Do you not remember anything?"

"Remember what?" she frowned, looking at everyone in the room, "We were attacking Eggman... then he went to catch Amy but caught me instead... and then-" Jayde let out a horrified gasp, covering her muzzle with her hands as she abruptly stood. Manic caught her as she stumbled slightly, helping her to gain her balance before she tore herself away from him - as if she would hurt him.

She looked around, all her friends stood around her, each with cuts and bruises from the recent fight. Azure eyes caught sight of the echidna with a bandage around his wrist, a vision shooting through her of what she had done to him...

The echidna smirked right back at Raven before speaking, "I don't see why you're so confident. I've watched Jayde train multiple time and I know her weaknesses. I know your weaknesses." I wanted to yell at him – how could he be so idiotic right now? Didn't he see the threat in front of him?

The amusement was wiped from Raven's face and I could feel her expression go cold as she glared at the Guardian before us, "I have no weaknesses," She snarled, "I am NOT Jayde!"

Before the echidna could register that his taunt had completely backfired, Raven slammed into Knuckles with powerful force, throwing him backwards. Knuckles crashed through the Master Emerald, shattering it into millions of pieces as they collided.

Rouge cried out, "Knuckles!" I saw her cradle him, tears of sadness and fear in her eyes.

Jayde gripped her head with the memory, tears filling her orbs. She turned, only for her eyes to land on the hero of Mobius and another vision flashed through her.

Sonic groaned, slumping against the ground and slowly he sat up. I could feel Raven snicker, landing beside the hero, "The famous Sonic the Hedgehog, brought to his knees by one person – what are the chances?"

Sonic gritted his teeth, "I'll never be brought down. Not by you, not by anyone." He stood weakly, glancing to the two females hiding. I knew he wanted to protect them, but I was hurting him for it. He had to run!

"Why do you fight, Blue Boy, when you know you will lose?" Raven asked, walking towards him. I knew he was afraid. Raven could sense it. And it sickened me that I was the one causing that - I'm making the hero scared.

"I fight because I know she's still in there," he grinned, clenching his fists, "I fight because Jayde is still in you, and I will continue fighting until we return her."

Yes, I am here. But run. Take Amy and Cream and run as far as you can, you blue idiot!

Raven chuckled, gripping the weak hedgehog's neck quicker than he could react and shot into the sky, "Sonic!" Amy yelled, running forward. I wanted to break free and stop Raven, but her form was too powerful for me to attack. I cried inside myself, not wanting to see what I'm doing yet needing to know.

"It's your loyalty to your friends that makes you weak. You put your life on the line to save them, but who saves you?" Raven asked, watching his feeble attempts to remove her hands, "No one."

"M-My friends strengthen me – we work together to help one another." Sonic managed to speak out, kicking his legs, "And we will bring Jayde back." I could sense through Raven that he was losing his strength. The hands that tried to pry mine away were weakening in his attempts.

Raven snarled, "There is no Jayde! Jayde is gone!" she yelled angrily, throwing the hedgehog away like a stick.

"Mr Sonic!" Cream shouted, and I saw her quickly fly to save him.

Amy gasped, "Cream, no!"

The negative form saw the young rabbit and shot towards her, readying her fist to teach her a lesson. I cried out in anger, pushing all my energy forward to prevent her from hurting Cream.

Please – not ever Cream!

Raven's fist yanked itself back, barely missing the young hero. I knew Amy saw – I could see it in her eyes that she knew I was still there.

Please just save me from this monster...

Jayde seemed to choke on her own tears, and she could still feel that negative energy inside her. Her orbs landed on the one she helped before. The one who saved them from Torrent in the end. His orbs showed concern, but in her mind, all she could think of was how much she hurt him.

"I 'm the Jayde that is willing to do whatever it take to achieve my goal. I am her fear, her nightmare." Raven gritted her teeth, but I knew Shine grew stronger the more he fought. He learnt through the fight, "She tried to hide me away, away from everyone – especially Shadow, but she was always scared of me. That's why she is weak. She is full of untapped potential because she only scratched the surface of her powers."

I wanted to hide you away. You cause nothing but fear and pain.

"And underneath is you." Shine muttered, "A pathetic excuse for a Mobian who thinks they need to vanquish the weak and tame the strong. You will fail." I agreed with him, but all that was going to do was anger her. She would hurt him, and I couldn't stop her.

Raven grinned, grabbing his wrist and flipping him around, slamming him into the ground with a groan. Shine tried to move, but her body was already on his, hands wrapped around his neck and she wouldn't budge no matter how much I pled, "I never fail."

She stared down at her hands, noticing the red still around her inhibitor rings, "I-I'm so s-sorry!" she whimpered. Shadow went to step forward to comfort her, but she pushed everyone aside and ran out the workshop.
