Chapter 12: She won't? Yet she did.

Jia POV

"Yes. And she wants to be alone."

Wow. That really hurts. And she did inform everyone, except me.

*kring kring*

"Hello? Mich?" 

Biglang naman akong napatingin kay Ate Ly nung sinagot niya yung tawag.

"Mich? Hoy, Mich? Saan ka? Okay ka lang ba?"

Shit. Anyare kay Mich?

"Puntahan kita diyan." - Ate Ly

"Den, alam mo ba kung saan condo ni Mich?"

Napatingin naman sa akin si Ate Den.

"Jia?"

"Is it okay if ako nalang ang pupunta dun Ate Ly?"

Ate Ly smiled and nod.

"Thank you.."

"Take care of her, okay?" phahabol ni ate Den.

"Will do, with all my heart."

I saw how they gave me a meaningful stare habang paalis ako.

After 10 minutes nakarating na rin ako sa condo ni Mich, which is pag-aari din naman nila.

I immediately run to her room. Good thing i have a spare key. She gave it to me para daw if ever i'll need a place to crash in, this place is always open for me.

Aww, Mich.

When i opened the door, there, i saw Mich lying on her bed. Her eyes was closed, while nakakumot hanggang leeg. She's shivering. Kinabahan ako bigla.

Nilapitan ko siya kaagad then dinama yung noo nito.

Shit. Ang init init niya.

Inaapoy ito ng lagnat!

"M-Mich? Oh God, Mich.."

"Hmmmm.."

"Are you okay? Wait lang, i'll get --"

"Ji?"

"Its me, yes, kagabi pa ba masama pakiramdam mo? Bakit di mo sinabi? Teka lang, kukuha --"

"Why are you here? Wala ba kayong pinuntahan ni Espejo? Bakit ka --"

"Wala ako dun kasi nandito ako. Eh, ano ba, wag ka nga. Teka lang, nakakain ka na ba?"

She just smiled weakly.

"Stay there."

I went to her kitchen and checked the cupboards. May nahanap naman siyang cup noodles. She also brought a basin of warm water and a towel.

Nang makabalik na siya kay Mich, binasa niya ang towel and ipinunas iyon sa mukha ni Mich, hanggang sa leeg.

Ibinaba niya ang kumot hanggang sa bewang nito at pinunasan.

She was about to took Mich's shirt off pero nag-alinlangan pa si Mich.

"You need to take it off and change it. Basa ka ng pawis oh. Magka pneumonia ka pa nito, sige ka."

Natakot ata kaya hinayaan niya nalang ako.

"Just trust me, okay?"

She stares at me for like, 5 seconds then nods.

Ang sexy pala ng bestfriend ko.

Damn it, Jia. Your friend's sick at yan pa talaga naiisip mo? Erase, erase.

Pinagpatuloy ko lang ang ginagawa ko at hinayaan lang naman ako ni Mich. Nung natapos na ako..

"Mich, you need to eat."

"Wala akong gana.."

"You have to, kahit konti lang."

"O-okay."

After Mich ate the noodles, she gave her a medicine then pinatulog na ito.

"Come on, sleep. You need rest."

Bigla niya naman hinawakan ang kamay ko.

Shit, ano yun? Ba't parang may kuryenteng dumaloy?

"Don't go.."

"I won't, okay? I'll be right here."

"Don't leave. Please."

"I don't. And i won't."

She smiled and she fell asleep.

After a while..

*kring kring*

Marck calling..

"Hello, Marck?"

"Jia, saan ka? Did you forgot na may project tayo? We need to go to this museum sabi ni Sir."

"Ah, shit. Pero i cannot leave, i won't go anywhere."

"You have to, we we're about to leave, 2 hours lang naman 'to sabi ni Prof. Malalagot ka if di ka makasama. Remember, 50% 'to sa grades natin."

"Pero, i can't. I promised Mich."

"Sir Lopez is strict, he will not consider any reasons, you know that. You're going to fail if you're not going, Jia. "

"Okay, fine! But i can't leave Mich here alone. I'll call ate Ly muna. Be there in 20minutes."

Mich's POV

Little did Jia know, I heard everything. Nagising ako nung tumunog ang phone nito.

There she is again. Breaking her promise to me for Espejo. She won't leave me, huh? Tell it to my hand.

Nung dumating si ate Aly, nagpaalam naman kaagad si Jia sa kanya, without knowing she's awake the whole time.

"Goodbye, Mich. I'm so sorry. I love you. I'm really sorry. I'll be back."
