Nung dumating nga si Ate Ly with Ate Den, umalis na si Jia. I opened my eyes nung may maramdaman akong kamay sa noo ko. 

Si Ate Den pala.

"Hi Mich, how are you feeling?" - Den

"Never been better."

"Stop with the act, kiddo." - Ly

Sinamaan ko naman ng tingin si Ate Ly. Baka malaman pa ni Ate Den no.

"Haha. I saw that Mich. Don't worry, di ko pagsasabi." - Den

"Po?"

"And again, Stop with the act, kiddo. She knew. She knew it before you told us." - Ly

"Well, WE knew. Di kami manhid, no." - Den

"At ang bestfriend mo ang reyna ng mga yun." - Ly

"Ikaw naman, masokista!" - Den

"You should tell her you love her more than as a bestfriend, you know." - Den

"I can't ate. Well, i must be a masochist for i am inlove with a person who doesn't love me back."

"Have you asked her?" - Ly

"No."

"Then why conclude that?" - Ly

"Because..i always end up as second rate between me and Marck. Palagi nalang. What's the use of telling her, anyway? Ngayon palang nga, wala na."

"She deserved to know. Plus, if you''ll do that continuously, you're the one who keeps on ending up hurting." - Den

"Nothing hurts more than realizing she's my everything and im nothing compared to Espejo. And pagod na ata ako. Pagod na ako masaktan. Ang sakit na eh."

"I asked her to stay, Ate. As a bestfriend. She promised me. Yun na lang pinanghuhugutan ko eh. Yung label na yun. She promised she won't leave me, yet she just did when he called. Alam mo yun? In everything i do, she'll always be my first priority pero when it comes to me.. "

"So, what now? You're giving up? Just like that?" - Ly

"I don't know. Maybe."

"Mich, you have to face it. Face the truth. Whatever the outcome will be, you have to face it." - Ly

"I don't think i can do it, Ate Ly."

"Mas pipiliin mo nalang ang masaktan, ganon?" - Den

"Yes."

"For Pete's sake Mich, maawa ka nga sa sarili mo. Sabihin mo na." - Den

"No. Natatakot ako, ate. Ayaw kong pati yun mawala. I choose to be her bestfriend but falling inlove with her was out of my control. "

"Kung mahal mo, you don't have to be afraid to tell her. Hindi naman nakakamatay ang pagsabi ng, "I love you Jia, not as bestfriend but more than that", di ba? Hindi ka ba nasasaktan every time na tinatawag ka niyang bestfriend?" - Ly

"Yes, i die a little inside everytime she used the word 'bestfriend' to describe me. Pero yung lang ako eh. Bestfriend niya. Okay na ako dun. Atleast, i have a way to kiss her, hold her hand, cuddle with her, feel her hair, without any reason to give."

"You're saying being labeled as her bestfriend is better than telling her you love her?" - Den

"Yes."

"You're hopeless." - Ly

"A masochist." - Den

"Well, i guess i am."

"Okay. Then, what would you do?" - Den

"Well, im her bestfriend. I'll be there for her, Im gonna stay that way. Gagawin ko kung ano ang ginagawa ng bestfriend. But i'll try to get away with it. Slowly."

"Di mo siya papansinin, ganon?" - Ly

"Siguro. Oo."

"Magagawa mo?" - Den

"Kaya mo?" - Ly

"Para sa ikabubuti ng lagay ng puso ko." I laughed. And i know, they know its fake.

Napailing nalang silang dalawa.

"Ly, may kilala ka bang construction worker?"

"Bakit?"

"Pagawa tayo ng rebulto ni Mich. Reyna ng mga masokista."

"At si Jia, reyna ng mga manhid."

Natawa naman ako dun sa sinabi nila.
